Total of Michelle Obama's JCrew outfit that she wore on Leno: $337.00!
J Crew | October 28, 2008 | Me

Posted on 10/28/2008 11:32:28 AM PDT by MountainLoop

I did a little research on Michelle Obama's J Crew outfit on the Jay Leno show last week. I wrote to J Crew and asked them what items she purchased and they obliged me with the following response:

Mrs. Obama was wearing our Pembridge-Dot Pencil Skirt, item #99737, in the color Gold, with our Italian Deco Tank, item #97338, in Bright Saffron. Her outfit was topped off with our Crystal Button Colorblock Cardigan, item #96233, in the color Silver Honey.

Pembridge Dot Pencil Skirt: $148.00 Italian Deco Tank: $99.00 Crystal Button Cardigan: $90.00 Total: $337.00 ...and that is the sale price!

The caviar stains on her blouse cost more than that. That appearance was totally orchastrated by the campaign.

...and she lives in a house worth over a mil which was acquired in a shady transaction with a convicted felon, works at a job in which she saw her income jump from $100k to $300k after her husband made it to the US Senate (and he promptly returned the favor with a $1mil earmark for her employer). Not to mention that her husband made $4 mil last year off his two memoirs.

She was saving money so obama could spend $400,000.00 on one of his trips to Hawaii?

Actually, that’s probably the cheapest outfit she owns. In fact, I wouldn’t be surpised if she wore it because of the story about the cost of Palin’s clothes. If she thinks that’s cheap, she’s forgotten the meaning of cheap.

You know that story was false, right? She was in Indiana speaking at a rally at the same time she was supposedly ordering room service in NYC. The NY Post gossip columnist retracted the story.

I agree with you. Just seeing her name in a headline on here conjures up her scowling image. Ick.

I’m guessing she won’t be “really proud of her country” anymore when we give O and his wealth redistribution the big thumbs-down next Tuesday.
