My comment that generated that comment was this one
I have a very cynical belief in absentee ballots. I do not trust the government employees enough to let them touch my ballot. So the only safe ballot is one that is not touched by anyone but me. Any ballot sent threw the mail is one that may be tampered with. To much opportunity for mischief.

For the first time ever I am sending my ballot in by certified mail, return receipt requested. I don’t trust anybody. But our county now has internet ballot tracking.
