KEYWORDS: biden; comedy; murtha; snl
"Earlier what I said about Western Pennsylvania being ignorant, I was misquoted. They're more backwards. They don't understand the modern world because they're uneducated. They don't have radios and that type of thing. Also, they're racist."
LOL!

Hilarious! You have to give them credit - they can now say they are “Fair and Balanced”.
To: The G Man
The sad thing is that, after all that, they might re-elect Murtha anyway. That would kinda be like proving the “ignorant” point. [And, yes, I know its just a parody]

This isn't fair and balanced. They are minimizing damage by casting Biden and Murtha as flakes - but flakes that should be ignored. They STILL show cheering at the mere mention of Obama and the presidency in the same sentence. It's just an attempt to put the two in the category of "information I don't need when I vote for Obama."
NEVER, EVER TRUST ANYTHING SNL DOES WHEN IT COMES TO POLITICS - EVER!

I’d love to see SNL do a parody based on the New Yorker cover of a few months ago.

I thought it was hilarious, except that their faux c-span voiceover guy cut off Biden just as he started to say Andy, Stand up.

I watched SNL last night. It was pretty funny. They slammed the RATS for a change.

Yep, but it's a masterful work of that art, and should be appreciated for what it is. They sweeten the actuality, and present in with good spirited humor, thus allaying the real fears voters should have. The promise of a hundred years of peace and prosperity after one year of tribulation is also part of sweetening what really should be feared meme.
We are blessed to have one candidate -- Sarah -- with natural comedic timing delivery skills and who is sharp as a tack in response. It also helps us that McCain has a deep vein of cold sarcastic humor (sort of English, that way) that he employs with great effect at rare times. Like at the Al Smith dinner.
In otherwords, our team can go toe to toe with this kind of *great* propaganda war.

There are tons of people accused of being racist, who are not racist. Can’t people disagree with proposals without being called a racist?
