I watch the news and look at the Internet blog news everyday. I know that people's cars are getting 'baseball batted', houses are getting vandalized, items are being stolen, and a few people have even been punched all by enraged, 'over the top' Obots.
Because of that, there is no bumper sticker on my car. I do not have a sign in my yard for McCain/Palin. I will not discuss my voting choice with strangers. Call me paranoid, but I am not a strong person and I don't own a gun (and don't want to).
What do you think I am going to say if a 'pollster' calls me to ask me who I will be voting for??? Three guesses. Keep in mind: I like my home. I like my car. I like my kitties. I think my face looks acceptable and really don't want it rearranged Welllllllll ?????? Call me paranoid if you like, but I will say:
Of course I am voting for Mr. Obama.

Or I will decline to participate.
Interesting - I won’t have a sign this time, and I usually do. But the neighbor across put up a McCain-Palin sign, and I complemented her.
The Obamacorns are out of control. The way he is controlling them with his Obamamania routine, it’s easy to see another Jonestown occurring right here in the United States but on a massive scale. Those Obamanoids are insane.
Buy a shotgun and flechette rounds. Be prepared to use it.
The Zombies are at our doors....
We have interesting laws in Florida about personal protection if we feel threatened.
I've also invested heavily in lead for all the firearms I own.
I refuse to be intimidated.
Obamabots are a damned cult. This is the single weirdest, darkest election I have ever seen & I survived David Dinkins in NYC!!
ME TOO....And, we’ve just moved into this area....I’m sure we have the neighbors (none of whom we know yet) talking....I plan to throw a neighborhood party later this year...we’ll see who comes.

Im in moonbat central here in NY and have a huge rep. flag in the picture window and a lawn sign ( it comes in at night because they are hard to come by).
And I learned to lock and load hubbys Colt .45 today.
the crazies are a TINY group to the rest o f the population.
they are just faking their numbers.
we just need to get to the sheep.
Technical point. While a gun is a good, general purpose tool for self defense and crime control, for close, anger driven spontaneous in-fighting, I would personally much prefer a knife. A gun just takes too long, with a short gap. But even if it is just *there*, a knife can seriously injure with just the attacker’s own momentum.
No need to put a round in the chamber or take the safety off, a knife cannot misfire. Even broken it is usually at least partially dangerous. It can stab or slash. Bleeding is often profuse and difficult to repair. And while a very drunk person can sometimes be unaware of or ignore a gunshot wound, which is sometimes confused with a punch, a slash gets their attention immediately.
Just personal preference.
Man are there a lot of sheep to herd. LOL
It’s the thug culture of Obama that his supporters LOVE and IDENTIFY with.
you’re aware f the expression “don’t bring a knife to a gun fight”, right? A knife is a poor choice for defense if a gun is available, if an attacker gets that close to you yuo’re in big trouble.
That is why I was very specific about the situation. “...close, anger driven spontaneous in-fighting...”
A gun, open carry or concealed, needs several seconds to draw, charge, and take off safe. But in this kind of fight, the attacker has already closed, but not necessarily yet indicated any threat of attack. Typically, they are about 5’ away getting angrier, then all of a sudden, boom.
In the defense, you will probably have picked up on the threat, and are at least starting to think of your weapon, but are in a range disadvantage.
This is why many police prefer Tasers over their gun. Often, especially with drunks, the drunk doesn’t even see the gun, because they want to wrestle. Having a gun drawn puts the officer at a disadvantage, because it is unlikely that the situation is up to the level of shots fired. But if they wrestle, they could lose the gun and have it used against them. No hesitation with a Taser, however.
If the attacker is focused on you and approaching, even a 15’ distance may not be enough time to draw down on him with a loaded gun off safe.
But as soon as a knife is out, it is ready.
Any number of corollaries to this, of course. If *he* has a gun, or if the attacker is less threatening, or if he gives you a lot of lead time, etc.
Just personal preference.

I happen to own a combat knife I purchased via E-bay. It appears to be well-used and apparently dates from WWII, it has a name on it which I take to be the name of the soldier who carried it. I have sharpened it to an amazing edge using a leather strop with jeweler’s rouge to finish the edge.
“Buy a shotgun...”
I did that very thing today. Unfortunately delivery is taken on Nov 5. Re: zombies...I made the same comment to my wife as we are surrounded by Bambi signs. “This is like Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”
Need a few Claymore mines around the perimeter as well.
