I am a republican and my wife is a democrat, both voting for McCain. My mother in law is an independent, and undecided.

So, with 33% republicans, 33% democrats and 33% undecided, the election now polls at 66% McCain, 0% Obama and 33% undecided. Blowout for McCain!

How many different methodologies does Zogby have now? +3 is good.

We have Obama on tape. Hit Hard. Attack Attack Attack.

Compare what Wright says and what Obama says

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDcQUcAjoeI
Wright: "Barrack knows what it means to be a black man living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7fi8STNlxM
Obama: "Many of the problems that Africa faces whether it is poverty, or political suppression, or ethnic conflict is just as prominent there and can't all be blamed on the effects of colonialism, what it can be blamed on is some of the common factors that effect Bosnia or Los Angeles or all kinds of places on this earth and that is the tendancy for one group to try to suppress another group in the interest of power or greed or resources."

Thanks the lord. Even if Zogby’s national polls are - as the evidence indicates - crap, the simple act of reporting good or bad numbers does influence voter behavior. So if Zogby adjust his special sauce to make his poll a little closer to reality, that might cause other pollsters to follow suit, which will reduce the “bandwagon effect.”

The “bandwagon effect” being the tendency of idiots (i.e. Independents) to vote for popular guy.

BTW, plug this into your media player to hear Sarah Palin live for about the next 15 minutes:

mms://a580.l1632556579.c16325.n.lm.akamaistream.net/D/580/16325/v0001/reflector:56579

It doesn’t look pretty, but it’s a link to live video.

Remember McCain comes out with his heavy advertising Monday...and will go through the election..that should help. Obama has been outspending McCain 5 to 1 a this point

Zogby decides to include Republican likely voters in his sampling for once.

You don’t have to believe it just in your heart man. It has been so well documented so many times by good FReepers here who have posted article after article by MATHEMATICIANS, and, people who have combed over past election statistics that are not UNKNOWNS, nor fantasies, nor PROJECTIONS INTO THE FUTURE, known only to our Lord, which show that these polls not only are SUSPECTED to be wrong, but ARE WRONG.

As DJ Drummond over at www.wizbangblog.com has pointed out, you can’t have two “respected” pollsters ON THE SAME DAY, have 95% confidence level and be 14 FREAKING POINTS APART!!!

Please excuse my shouting.

I didn’t want to say anything, but last week I got to go to Utica and visit Zogby’s polling office. They’ve got some ‘interesting” polling methods:

Monday
Zogby: Magic 8 Ball, Is Barrack Obama winning big?
8 Ball: Consult me Later

Tuesday:

Zogby: Magic 8 Ball, Is John McCain still in it?
8 Ball: Reply Hazy. Try Again

Wednesday:

Zogby: Magic 8 Ball, Does Barrack Obama have a 10 point lead
8 Ball: It is certain

Thursday:
Zogby: Magic 8 Ball, does Obama have this thing locked up?
8 Ball: Don’t bet on it

Friday
Zogby: Magic 8 Ball, Are my polls too sporadic and useless?
8 Ball: Without a doubt!

Well, tomorrow is only about 12:45 AM EST, when the Zog releases the new poll on his site. It won’t be Obama +3, because it includes prior polling days. It’ll be somewhere around Obama +5 to +7.

The day that ballooned 0’s lead to 12 points falls off tonight, to be replaced by a +3 sample.

McCain wouldn’t have a chance against Hillary in this environment. We have a good shot against Obama.

True, Hillary would be ahead by 20 points by now. Whatever the effects of Operation Chaos (I tend to think it played a smaller role than many think), pulling for Obama to win in the primary was the smart move. He's the only one we even have a chance against.

Weird election year; sort of like, "Our worst guy against their worst guy." I still think it's a race. For America's sake, I hope McCain pulls it out.
