“The snippets distort the actually meaning of what he said. The snippet is flawed. Listen to the full interview.”

You’re the only one so far that has called it... I can’t stand Obama. There are many things about him and what he stands for that make me physically ill, but the white executive comment on its own belies the context.

There are so many liberal morons out there taking things grossly out of context it also sickens me (but moreso) when someone does it for a conservative cause.

It’s up to the liberals to believe the ends justify the means. We should be more honest than that. Let’s defeat the socialist, Obama the right way... with integrity and honesty.

I'm sorry but that is just insane. There is no distortion here. If so explain! He says WHITE people don't want their taxes to help black children.

He says HE MUST SAVE the African American community SO HE CAN BE SAVED.

He compares the plight of African Americas to the ethic genocide's of Bosnia and Africa.

He blames all of African Americans problems on “ONE GROUP” who suppresses them.

Explain how that is not true.

And also as far as that whole Liberal fight thing may I say BULL

We need to start fighting

We need to stop attacking our own when it is a small issue and PLEASE GOD if McCain gets in I pray He takes a page from Clinton and ACTUALLY TAKES CREDIT FOR when thing go right!

If Bush had a huge press conference every time they stopped a terrorist attack we would not be days away from a racist socialist taking over our country

several diverse (no pun intended) points

1. Many liberals, not just blacks, would see nothing wrong with the remark about executives not wanting to pay for inner city kids. They would not necessarily view it as a race issue, but as a class issue. The libs I know think that anyone who doesn’t want to pony up ever more to give to those with less are selfish, greedy, and possibly evil.

2. I actually liked Obama’s remark that the reparations they need are “investment in schools.” I actually appreciate that sentiment. To me, that is saying that “We don’t need handouts. We need education.” Unfortunately, that is not what I believe he means. I say that because he demonstrated what he would do with “investment in schools” when he was on the CAC board. Results: kids:0, improvement:0, accomplishment:0, advancement of socialist agenda and lining the pockets of cronies: WIN

3. Creepy part. His salvation requires that *WE* make sacrifices. Listen to that line again.

4. “wrong that needs to be made right” could be spun in many ways. I believe he is implying that whites are responsible for blacks losing their jobs and therefore are “bad” and need to be held accountable. But the words are vague enough that he could weasel out of that.

5. “Solutions require ... money” Again, not racist, but extremely liberal. They think everything can be solved by money. What did he solve with the millions from the CAC? Nothing. Did he learn nothing from that? What he seems to have learned is that it’s fun to give away other people’s money. You can buy a lot of friends (and votes) that way.

6. Child care and affordable housing. “Not individual responsibility, but societal responsibility” He thinks that’s the government’s responsibility and society’s responsibility. Again, not a racist comment, but one that I disagree with on a very fundamental level. It’s a very socialist comment.

7. He talks about one group suppressing another and includes Africa. This would be a group of blacks suppressing another group of blacks. He can recognize racism in Africa by blacks against blacks, but cannot recognize it in America by blacks against whites. I believe this is because in his view (which many share) racism only counts if it is the majority group that is guilty of it. The minority group gets a free pass. Again, I don’t think this remark shows that he is racist, so much as it shows that he is blind to black on white racism. He doesn’t see taking money from whites to pay for blacks as racism, he sees it as fairness.

All that said, he still may be racist. I just don’t think this is the explosive evidence that shows it. I think it IS very compelling evidence of his socialism. And that is very scary.

I agree, but was troubled by his comment:

“this country has not always been willing to make the sacrifices necessary to bring about a new day and a new age.”

Um...I think I had relatives that died in the Revolutionaray war...the Civil war...and you know what, they lost their money and homes as well...that was a pretty big sacrifice by this country, to bring about a new day and a new age...especially where the civil wars was raised.

How many sacrifices did Americans make to save the world from Hitler, who also killed blacks as an “inferior race”? How many men were killed and sacrificed their families and homes and limbs?

Didn’t Americans march and stop riding buses..didn’t politicians put their careers on the line for the civil rights amendment?

I resent him saying that we “this country has not always been willing to make the sacrifices necessary to bring about a new day and a new age.”...it is a lie! Americans have always made HUGE sacrifices to change not only our country, but the world!

How much more sacrifices are going to be enough for these Marxists? None. It will never be enough, not enough money, not enough blood...never enough. There is no healing, no forgiveness, and thus no movement forward.
