Thanks! And indeed good news!!!
Palin power in Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico.
Exactly. We have about one more week of the 'propaganda phase' of these polls -- then they need to slide into reality because their report cards (and credibility ratings) are based on how close their last polls match the election outcome. Until now (and probably until mid/end next week) its been primarily a dance to shape opinion - not measure it.
I predicted this tightening would be reported by the media and poll players. I also predicted that they would then show an Obama rebound in the week before the election.
They are desperate to show Obama with the big mo headed into the election.
Don’t buy into any of this.
McCain/Palin are no better or worse off today than they were last week IMO. This is all manipulation.
I believe McCain/Palin will win.
Give up??
There will be no white flag over my door anytime soon my friend.
Tell them to meet me behind the shop on Valentine’s Day.
This is about where McCain’s internals show him, according to McCain who was on Imus this morning, he is down “around 4 points.”
AGAIN!! IT’S ALL ABOUT TURNOUT!!!!! GET OUT THE VOTE!!!!
I’ve decided that both Dems and the GOP are afraid to put up bumper stickers/signs due to fear of vandalism by the other side. Maybe people are just getting more private? Apparently more people are hanging up on pollsters too.
I drive old cars (I’m frugal, no subprime loans for me) and so I’m not scared of someone keying my McCain/Palin-stickered car here in the SF Bay Area. So far so good.
He who gets the white male vote in large numbers will win.
These polls are getting to be as useful as a hatrack on a moose. There is an incredible lack of consistency with anything from a tie to a double digit lead coming out at the same time. I have no idea how we should evaluate this information. My guess is that McCain is behind but I have no idea by how much.
I love this poll, but McCain is up 53-43 among 18-24 year olds? I hope that’s true, but a little unbelievable.
In my humble opinion, the large number of undecideds is the same as the "Bradley effect". Folks don't want to tell pollsters that they won't vote for The Messiah.
demographics expert, are we????
I can see GOPers being afraid, but Dems out here in CA afraid? Why? Obama is the Messiah!
I’m glad to see you will not be intimidated by the tolerant left. You live in the belly of the beast. Bravo!
I bought a brand new HHR SS. I put my McCain sticker on it. Same with the 500hp Mustang Convertible I have (yes, cars are my great weakness!).
The only car without a sticker is my wife’s minivan. I figure I don’t need someone trying to run her off the road especially with two kids in the car.
Let someone vandalize my cars however. I will use it as an example of how tolerant the left is! The fear I first felt of having my cars keyed is nothing compared to the sacrifice a soldier faces on the field of battle.
And this is one fight I will not back down from. If we go down, we go down fighting!
Head to weather, trim the mainsheet, steady as she goes.
(God I love using sailing metaphores)
McCain will win big and pick up new states like Pennsylvania.
Don’t want to be smartarsed but McCain is NOT going to say what his REAL Internal Polls are, If he is ahead he wouldn’t say that because he doesn’t want his voters to get COCKY & COMPLACENT & think it is over & not vote
12.3% undecided? What are these people waiting for? Obama has offered them every entitlement they could possibly want.
