How does thi compute with being down 10 nationally or 8 or 6 for that matter. Makes no sense. Very tight here in FL and Obama blew his wad (money) and he loses ground in the past two weeks. Very interesting. Also to note, McCain down only two in VA in Mason-Dixon - a few more rallies there at the end should put that state away.

Cmon Zogby!! McCain has opened up small leads in Ohio and Florida, during the same time Obama has opened up a 10 point lead nationally?

Give me a break.

Gee, is it possible that there is actually a poll that has not oversampled and overweighted Democrat and minority “registered” voters?!

It can’t compute to National Polls. If Bambi is really that far ahead in the National Polls there is no way McCain wins Florida or Ohio for that Matter

If those poll numbers are good, I think McCain/Palin have both those states in the bag. In 2004, both those states were “toss-ups” in the polls and Bush won VA by 9 and FL by 5.

I strongly feel Florida is ours, and always has been.

I don’t think Mason-Dixon polls nationally. If they did, who knows, they might have McCain down only 3 like GWU Battleground.

One possibility: Obama is winning big in blue states, McCain is winning small in red ones, and McCain is clawing it out in battleground states like Florida and Ohio.

It is still a poll and I don’t trust polls but at least I will pay attention to Mason Dixon. These guys are truly unbiased.

That's what you get when you oversample in such "battleground" states as Massachusetts, New York, Illinois and California, and all but ignore "flyover" country.

read internals. They say they contacted 625 registered voters and ALL said they were Likely Voters. So here RV and LV are the same number - interesting there too. I doubt we’ll see 100% turnout or 90 or 80 for that matter. The highest I’d put it as is 65%.

This refers to those other national pollsters. I think I heard an ABC blurb this morning that Obama was up 11 in battleground states - this obviously contradicts Mason-Dixon here.

I know things are tightening in VA. I’ve seen it on the ground. All the red is becoming bright red with the prospect of an Obama presidency.
