Pew Research: “Rush Limbaugh,” “Hannity & Colmes” Listeners Best Informed About U.S. Politics
Capital Research Center ^ | October 18, 2008 | Matthew Vadum

The Pew Research Center for the People & the Press tested the political knowledge of 3,612 U.S. adults and found that the audiences of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity with Alan Colmes were the best informed about U.S. politics.

On two questions that asked respondents to identify the majority party in the U.S. House of Representatives (Democrats) and to identify the current U.S. secretary of state (Condoleezza Rice), "Hannity & Colmes" viewers scored 84% and 73% respectively. Among Rush Limbaugh listeners, the scores were 83% and 71%.

On a question involving international affairs in which the respondents had to identify the prime minister of the United Kingdom (Gordon Brown), 59% of readers of The New Yorker and the Atlantic got it right, compared to 57% of NPR listeners.

Bump this to the top since we have that new poll showing Obama voters dumb as a box of rocks at: http://www.howobamagotelected.com/

Indeed, the evidence is in, Conservatives and Republicans are more informed and more intelligent than those simpled minded circus fleas better known as liberals and Democrats.

Are we better informed because we’re Rush listeners? Or are we Rush listeners because we’re better informed?

Good question.

I would say the latter since few would find Rush entertaining if they were uninformed on the subjects he discusses. Rush does not really provide information as such. He provides analysis and opinion about topics which his listeners are already aware of, and he does so in a very entertaining fashion.

Duh, anyone who’s ever talked to a democrat knows this. Liberals are incapable of debate, facts are met with anger, logic is met with emotion.

They don’t know that their anger is a result of cognitive dissonance and or a gestalt implosion.

They need to be deprogrammed like cult members, many Hillary voters have been converted, we need to keep bombarding them with facts.

Sean Hannity should be proud. FReepers are always putting him down for intellectual challenges, but his audience is 1% smarter than Rush’s.
