You can’t match them to a voter as it should be but you can well match the registered voter list to the voter sign in roster. That’s how you find out who is voting that’s dead, moved, or whatever.
1) the Bradley Effect
I think that this time it is going to be the marxist effect.
That’s interesting, and I think reflects how very different things can be depending what part of the country you’re in. I notice you’re in the south, and you say you know lots of D’s not voting D this year, and possibly, I’m guessing, that’s because of their values, maybe they are Christians, or family-oriented folks, maybe also a strong sense of property rights.
Now, contrast that to where I am, Oregon. The place is a sea of Obama stickers and lawn signs. Those who dare to put a McCain sticker on their car have tires slashed or paint keyed. And I’m talking in a fairly “upscale” neighborhood.
Oregon’s known as “the most un-churched state” in the nation, leftists, gays, environmentalists, pagans and wiccans dominate everywhere. It’s worse than California, because people here are much less educated too and you simply cannot reason with them. They are rabid about Obama, the “messiah” complex thing is obvious.
This place is so far left, even the Evangelicals and Catholics are split 50/50 Obama/McCain. For Evangelicals to go for a Muslim socialist pro-abortionist is pretty darn weird. I almost wonder if there is “black magic” involved... oh, pardon that racist pun!
I think it would be very hard these days for any polling firm to get a true sampling. Most people use answering machines or use cell or other type of phones. I don’t see how they could be accurate anymore. I don’t pick up for strange numbers flashing.
The chaos might extend to real physical chaos. ‘bammy goes into election day polling (over-weighted for ‘rats) 51% and then gets 44% - riots will ensue. “Urban” neighborhoods will suffer hundreds of dollars in damages. “Rides” will burn.
Yes, but the unintended effect will be all the mush-head Obama supporters staying home cause they think they have this one in the bag.
