It might be offensive, but it isn't illegal.

That's the conclusion police reached about a campaign sign in unincorporated Kane County that contains a "racial slur" in reference to Barack Obama.

The homemade sign, posted along a well-traveled stretch of Route 47 north of Lily Lake, shows a caricature of the nation's first black presidential nominee wearing red-colored hair and a red nose modeled after Chicago's famed Bozo the Clown. There's a red circle with a line through the Illinois senator's head and two words in all capital letters: "NO BROZOS."

Please explain to me how this could ever be construed as racist? This is getting really ridiculous! I have been very reticent to consider if the Bradley effect could possibly be true, but when I see day after day, anyone that dares question "The One" being labeled either a racist, or investigated by the MSM (Joe the Plumber), I can now believe there are a whole lot of people out there that will not actually admit that they are not voting for Obama!

We actually live in a country that may spout Free Speech, but dare to not agree with "The Messiah" and your life will be Hell!

It’s not up to the police or the Daily Herald to decide. We either have free speech or we don’t.

I don’t remember, for example, the police getting involved when someone decided a Cross in a jar of piss was art or not, for example. The Daily Herald’s story then would have been on excessive and illegal police power.
