You are mister Optimistic!
Virginia released today there were 400,000 new registered voters since 2004, pushing the registered totals to approximately 5M total. This puts VA online to break 70% turnout.
1,716,959 - Bush
1,454,742 - Kerry
Under the highly unscientific assumption that all the Bush voters vote McCain, all the Kerry votes vote Obama, McCain needs 35% of these new 400,000 voters to keep the lead.
But interestingly, VA showed both Kerry and Bush maxed out on the partisan voters. To make up 8% seems unlikely. McCain should win +2/3.
Even if Obama were to win this state, it will be <1.9 points. What I find unbelievable is Sarah Palin’s numbers in a traditional Republican state. Unless they polled exlusively in Fairfax and Richmond.
Another kiddie clown poll
Back when the unemployment figure came out at 6% I said the economy would be the deciding issue and that McCain should go after the democrats for causing the problem
Little did I know it would get so much worse but the strategy should be the same —the democrats caused this BS
However if the public thinks a corrupt liar like Obama is the answer and can’t see he is a snake oil merchant then we as a country are doomed
They will have severe buyers remorse in the following years but it will be too late by then
+ 6 McCain is an improvement. We have time and Obama is going down.....WE can do it!!!

Yes, in Northern Virginia and in City of Alexandria, you'd better believe it. Honestly, if every patriotic American doesn't get out there and vote for McCain/Palin... we've GOT to overwhelm the fraud with sheer numbers.
Christopher Newport University?
Yikes, LOL
I do not believe it, particularly given the relative size in crowds that have been coming out...like this huge crowd for Sarah.
On average only 55% of these new voters will actually vote.
A poll run by a bunch of college students? *guffaw*

No way VA will go blue...
NOVA is not as liberal as people think.
I live in a sea of Obama signs, in the City of Alexandria. I've got a Saul Alinksy community organization down the street. CASA, too. Please, oh, please, all Virginians, please get to the polls on Nov 2.
i don’t understand the second to last line of your post. please explain

Do you know what the voter registration ratio is in Va? I’d like to know how that relates to the sampling ratio.
One good thing about Virginia is that voters must have picture ID to vote. That puts us in a bit more secure position than places like Ohio
Not that that is foolproof, but it helps
