Take it for what it's worth. This is a synopsis of what I heard on the radio interview a short while ago. Steve Corbett seems to be an honest journalist; hopefully they will post the interview on their website.

If accurate, it means that with big time turn out on our side, and a heavy chunk of that RNC $160 million, we stand a very very good chance of turning PA Red.

What also lends credence to this is Obama’s focus on campaigning in Philly, in which should be a lock for him.

I believe it. It isn’t hard to figure out. You read the poll internals for all these polls showing Obama with huge leads, you note the usual ridiculous oversample of Democrats, you re-adjust the numbers based on the state’s actual demographics and voting history, rinse and repeat as needed. And besides, I personally had PA in a dead heat.

Those of us who actually know how to read and dissect the polls are not one bit surprised by this. It also helps greatly to pay attention to where both sides actually spend their time compaigning. If you have been paying attention, you already know that both sides have recently spent a great deal of time in Pennsylvania.

The Clintons were not just dispatched to PA (where, curiously, both McCain and Palin made appearances today) because Obama is leading by ten or more points.

It makes sense to me. Both campaigns have been spending time in PA. IF McCain/Palin was down the double-digits the media polls have them, they wouldn’t be spending so much time there—and neither would Barry’s Wonderama.

I’m calling BS on most of the polls breathlessly reported every single freakin’ day. They are heavily weighted in the dems favor—not realistic at all.

Obama should be way ahead in Pennsylvania. Since he is not, he should be scared senseless.

If its even on election day, McCain is leavin' him in the dust there.

Then he is toast there because in the primaries Pennsylvania has one of the largest Bradley effects.

Both campaigns have internal pollsters that are better than any other public polls (for McCain/Republicans, it's always Public Opinion Strategies (or POS), I don't know Obama’s main pollster). They typically do daily tracking polls of all the *battleground* states and nationally.

You never see these polls. Especially when it's been “publicly” or “accidentally” released. Be leery.

We can make reasonable guesses as to their numbers due to where they're campaigning/advertising in heavily. But that's not foolproof...

Sarah Palin supporters gather at the Riverfront Sports Complex on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, to listen to her speech. Jason Farmer / Staff Photographer The press is reporting this event at 4500, when they had to bring in extra bleachers for the standing room only crowd.

I bet he’s down by 2. I think Obama is losing in Pennsylvania.

Sifting through all the biased Gallup and cbsnyt garbage...this is probably the single most accurate piece of polling we’ve received in weeks. This is why they’re still contesting it heavily

+2 is a dead heat. PA is in serious danger for the Obamabots.

a good debate tomorrow and the state could swing to mccain overnight.

Obama and his allies never tell the truth, even when they tell a truth. It’s all part of one of the greatest cons in history. Second only to Paulson’s.

If Snob-ama is only up by 2 in Pennsylvania, he is not up by double-digits nationally. In fact, if he is only up by 2 in Pennsylvania - if that is a truly accurate polling result - then it would be more likely that he is actually a little behind Sen. McCain nationally.

McCain/Palin can take PA---but only if we work for it.

All PA Freepers should be out there making this happen. To flip PA is to basically win the election for McCain.
