U.S. Sen. John Kerry denounced John McCain's negative messages on Friday, saying the Arizonan's campaign has turned "ugly" and "desperate."
Kerry, a Boston Democrat, made his remarks in a message distributed to his large email list. Here are the key grafs,
John McCain has shown a stunning failure of leadership. His campaign, in a time of economic crisis and foreign policy drift, has degenerated into a negative and nasty campaign of smears.
The reports are piling up of ugliness at the campaign rallies of John McCain and Sarah Palin. Audience members hurl insults and racial epithets, call out "Kill Him!" and "Off With His Head," and yell "treason" when Senator Obama's name is mentioned. I strongly condemn language like this which can only be described as hate-filled.
Kerry, who faced strong and inaccurate attacks as the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, notes recent studies that have shown that all of McCain's ads recently have been attack ads and calls on his supporters to retaliate against the attacks by visiting his website www.truthfightsback.com.

SAY WHAT??
We all know. Anything anyone says that's negative in regards Obama is xenophobic, racist, mean bla bla bla.
The election process is SUPPOSED to be ugly. It's supposed to be a knock them over and drag them down fight between candidates. The media is supposed to dig into them. The candidates need to defend their positions and prove they have the leadership abilities and qualities people want. Look at it as an “interview with the people.” In this process you have a vetting of the candidates where they must proclaim their stance on issues. The mentally unstable, or weak, the physically weak, and the morally bent are supposed to be weeded out! That's the point! It's not supposed to be nice or touchy feely, it never was, even when you go back 200 years.
This “can't we all get along” nonsense is nothing more than a rhetorical and emotional plea. It's crap intended to pressure the opponent to back off. even if his argument is legitimate. Like with Kerry's three purple hearts and Vietnam record, Obama tries to define as “off limits” those issues and topics that threaten him. Discuss his Arabic middle name and ties to Islam and you're xenophobic. Talk about his wife's comments and you're mean. Talk about his lack of experience and you're racist...... However, these are issues and they are on the table, even if the media, the self proclaimed watchdog of democracy chooses to not report, discuss, or analyze many of these issues surrounding Obama. The media has chosen sides, so of course when these nonsense emotional pleas are thrown out as a defense they latch on.
If you can't take the heat of the kitchen, get the hell out! That's my attitude about the candidate Obama.
Can you blame her..? Just look what they did to her campaign. What the Democratic party did to her shows you they have no loyalty to anyone. When some young, hotshot black kid who sounded good came along they dropped her like a hot potato.
Is he officialy authorized to say that?
Mccain may be ugly but you my friend are fugly
Hey Lurch — you wanna talk about ugliness? Take your ugly Lurch-face and shove it where the sun won’t shine.....
LOLOL!!!
Don’t forget Soros!
Nobody on the left, or the right, for that matter, is as looney as Gore. Al Gore went unhinged after 2000. He was always obnoxious, but he’s gone nuts since the 2000 election.
