Actually, Obama supporters are doing a lot more than getting into people's faces. They seem determined to shut people up.
That's what Obama supporters, alerted by campaign emails, did when conservative Stanley Kurtz appeared on Milt Rosenberg's WGN radio program in Chicago. Kurtz had been researching Obama's relationship with unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers in Chicago Annenberg Challenge papers in the Richard J. Daley Library in Chicago -- papers that were closed off to him for some days, apparently at the behest of Obama supporters.
Obama fans jammed WGN's phone lines and sent in hundreds of protest emails. The message was clear to anyone who would follow Rosenberg's example. We will make trouble for you if you let anyone make the case against The One.
Other Obama supporters have threatened critics with criminal prosecution. In September, St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch and St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce warned citizens that they would bring criminal libel prosecutions against anyone who made statements against Obama that were "false." I had been under the impression that the Alien and Sedition Acts had gone out of existence in 1801-02. Not so, apparently, in metropolitan St. Louis. Similarly, the Obama campaign called for a criminal investigation of the American Issues Project when it ran ads highlighting Obama's ties to Ayers.

This much is clear: Regardless of how the election goes next month, Conservatives have their work cut out for them. We might dodge a bullet on November 4 but the automatic weapon is still loaded and will be firing constantly from now on. We have come so close to losing (and still might lose) our nation because we have become complacent about our liberties and freedoms. We have ignored the university culture cited by Mr. Barone and have accepted gagging of churches in the name of separation of church and state. We have relinquished the arguments on political correctness on so many fronts that the other side takes it for granted they ahve free rein.
Clearly we will need to work, and work hard to do more than forestall the inevitable another four year, at most. We need true Conservative representatives at every level of government. We need to do everything we can to contract the power of the feds to govern every minutia of our lives, and we need to shove back on free speech. We need to either reform or leave public education to its cesspool politics and we need to do it without using governmental grants whose strings can strangle us in the cradle.
I do hope most people here on this forum are not just trying to get through November 4 before relaxing. The last thing we can afford to do is relax. Even if, and maybe especially if, McCain wins the election.

I have been afraid that one of our more excitable brethern would pop this twerp and throw us into a Social War. Social War has to come as it is impossible-(except among the “Diversity” mongers who are far fewer than the media lets on)-for the two groups to live together. One will oppress the other. We have had constant riots since the Civil War. If the Blacks and their allies take over they will then oppress the Anglo American and precipitate a fight. Many interpretations can be applied, but most importantly this is the man Obama supported, what does it say about Obama and his judgement? It brings up many questions.
Once again, where is McCain on this? People may not connect with Ayres, but this is easy for people to understand. He need to make a speech for free speech and point out that Obama is against free speech. Too bad McCain is such a bad candidate. Somtimes, I think he just doesn’t know any of this stuff.

We need to get out and volunteer to get McCain elected so Barone does not live to regret writing this.

LISTEN, the only way to make the media pay for it's injustices is to hire private detectives to dig into the closets of the medias talking heads and owners. All legally, and turn the skeletons they find over to the legal authorities and if they don't do anything then shout it to the public! Detectives can only work in states where they are licensed so we would have to hire detectives from New York, and Illinois, and California, and D.C., where the networks have offices, and studios. So let's pool our money and send some to New York as a start to dig up dirt on the so called "journalists", like what they tried to do to Governor Sarah Palin. If “The One” becomes president, and a civil war of types breaks out, I could see various factions of the military breaking with the commander in chief, not obeying his orders, and this would lead to massive defections. Let’s face it, if the white man was oppressed and he sent me (if I was in the military) to quell a rebellion, I’d sooner change sides and fight with my brethern, not against them.
