List all of your county election contact info here. (Get ACORN!)

I had a thought. ACORN is making the news -even in the enemedia's darkest areas of reporting. People are finding out, slowly, the scope of their fraudulent acts in our election processes.

Every 2 years before early voting starts, I call my county Clerk and Recorder's office and ask them if my vote is still on record as available for casting. Just to make sure that no one has attempted to swipe my information and use it for voter fraud.

I just started thinking that we all shouild post the contact information for our counties on this thread. This way, we can all call and check this...AND mention our concerns about ACORN and their actions. Mention to the other person on the phone that we've heard about this in the news, and were wondering if something was being done at the county level to prevent fraud.

Whaddya say, folks?

It is very easy to check registration in Alabama.

Go to http://www.alabamavotes.gov and click to your county. Fill out the information and they return with all your voting details such as polling location, city, ward, etc.

There is information on registering to vote if you need to and information about absentee votes.

Sweet!

Let me add that if you search this thread (CTRL+F) for the state you’re in, it’ll pop up and be easier to find on this thread. There’s a LOT of counties out there!

I have received a few pieces of mail at my home, addressed to “Shannon Dacus” - unknown sex, age, etc. - at this street address. Since I am only the second resident of this house since it was built, and I know that the previous residents moved across the Country in 1970 - I know that this cannot be valid.

So I called the Election Commission to see if “Shannon” had registered to vote. She had not, but I ask that all of you take care that you do not become an unwitting virtual host to a shadow voter. And I was recruited to work as a Poll Judge on election day, so I hope to do my part to keep things straight.
