You know how much a pack of cigarettes cost now?
It can be up to $8 in Maryland, I know that, at machines in some convenience stores IN Baltimore City. (My sister in law smokes, honest)(lol).
How so typical of an elitist. Smokes but won’t buy them so he can say “I’m quitting.” Liar, Liar, Cigarettes on Fire.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. (It is touching how much we are concerned for Barry’s safety, huh) :-)
But, then I thought about how often candidates eat food at various events and local diners. I would think the food could be tampered with even more easily than cigarettes, so maybe it isn’t such a big deal.
I wonder if this story will casue Mike Bloomberg to endorse McCain. :)
Maybe some tree-hugging moonbats will turn against 0bama because of the greenhouse gasses his smoking emits. A few votes from Barry to Nader maybe?
If he has started smoking again, do you suppose the stress of the campaign might have lead him to return to some of his other (illegal) bad habits?

...that’s funny, I remember the same exact thing. I was in HS in the 70’s and the bros would always axe “fo fitty cent”. (”Yo” hadn’t been invented yet)

IF this were a Republican it would be shouted from the rooftops that he’s a closet smoker, that it indicates a character defect, that he’s a hypocrite, that he’s in the pocket of big tobacco, etc. etc. etc.
I quit for seven years from 1998 to 2005, picked it up again and quit this time July 18th............
Fitty would have bought either a pack or a gallon of gas at the time as I recall.
Don’t you get it? The government wants you to smoke. They desperately need those billions in cigarette taxes they collect each year to fund their hold on power. And they are counting on you to die of heart disease or cancer before reaching the magic age of 65 so that they won’t have to pay out any Social Security on you. It’s a win-win situation for the government.
Why did you restart smoking in 2005?
MSM NEVER shows a picture of 0bama with a cig in his mouth, like they never showed FDR in his wheelchair or JFK with his women. They are portraying a fictional 0bama. Dangerous stuff.
Nobody can quit, infact in order to raise enough revenue without increasing tzxes he is going to demand that more people smoke. It is a two pronged solution - more taxes on sales and less he has to pay out in health care.
Another thought. Perhaps 0bama is deliberately leaking that he smokes, to show that he is not a Muslim, or at least not a faithful one.
To make a long story short, My daughter turned 18 at that time and all hell broke loose in the family...............
God, this has me laughing to no end! Imagine “The One,” saying, “Yo, man — gimme one o’ dem.”
