My journalism professors were Marxists. They encouraged young journalism students to “change the world.”
The staff of the paper was full of nutjobs who knew very little about anything. They went from college straight to journalism jobs. They still live in the atmosphere of liberal college life.
Me, I found out reporters don’t make much and went into advertising...which has become more virtuous than journalism, I’m sad to say.
