SAN DIEGO, California (CNN) -- Tie goes to the hockey mom.
Who won last night's vice presidential debate? The answer depends on which ticket you support. If you like Obama-Biden, then Joe Biden won.
If you prefer McCain-Palin, Sarah Palin did. That's how you can tell a tie. That's what this was. And since Biden was supposed to destroy Palin, and didn't even come close, this was a good night for the Republican.
It is Sarah Palin's world, Joe Biden just lives in it. Viewers tuned in to see Palin either fall flat, or flatten her opponent.
It makes sense. Palin is one of the most exciting, but also divisive, figures in this campaign. The other is Barack Obama. If anything, there have been moments when I thought that John McCain and Joe Biden were drags on their respective tickets -- like during the debates.
In the middle of last week, McCain won leadership accolades with his march to Capitol Hill to try to alleviate the economic crisis.

If the Compost calls it a tie, then it’s a Republican win.
If CNN said it was a tie, then Biden lost.

Ok so in liberal land, up is down, win is tie....do you think they will ever put out a conversion chart so we can keep up?*sarcasm*
I watched it with great interest, and I thought that Sarah won, but that most determined liberals would not admit it.
Joe Biden lied repeatedly, but no one called him on it, and as we have often seen, those kinds of lies don’t bother moonbats. They think it’s a liberal’s duty to lie, if necessary, for the Cause.
Joe Biden was also caught repeatedly with a mean, nasty expression on his face. He’d be smiling, and then the smile would transform into a hateful scowl, and then back again to a smile. Sarah just looked natural and likeable the whole time.
But moonbats also think that you SHOULD be mean and nasty for the CAUSE. They do it all the time. So it doesn’t bother them a bit.
What might have bothered them was incompetence. Joe had one moment when he stumbled and was petrified, but it was only a moment. He was obviously prepped with the questions, and had his lies all ready to go. Once or twice he started to answer even before the question was finished. So, in the moonbat view, he did the job and defended the One.

Biden’s said on a couple of occasions what a great pick Palin was and how he respects what she brings.
To quote a WND columnist: "She field dressed the guy."
Palin absolutely won..and thank goodness because I think Obama had the edge in the first one with McCain.
Notice how the focus of this ‘debate” has become focused on everything Sarah did, and NOTHING Biden did? None of Biden’s gaffs are mentioned, his Gaff about naming the wrong constitutional amendment, his outright LIE about where he was born, his demeanor- the awful scowl he had during his many sudden mood swings.
The media tries to suggest that ‘the bar’ was set very low for Palin, but they don’t mention that it didn’t even exist for Biden, or try say it was much higher, which is a joke.
Overall, Palin did very well. She was confident, spoke clearly and presented her goals of real ‘change’ in Washington, while with Biden it’s just more of the same, which is what Obama confirms as well, flip flopping away from his message of “change” he began his campaign with, blaming a souring economy for the reason he can’t do anything.
Do NOT believe any poll that says Gov. Palin didn’t win or the debate was a tie. Those are All Lying Liberal Polls.
Gov. Palin blew Biden away. This debate will turn around the election and ensure a victory for the Great McCain-Palin ticket.
They had to have done the polling at night when most normal people are trying to get some sleep and most criminals are just waking up.
Sarah took names (May I call you Joe?) and then kicked butt!
Biden lost; he lied 10 to 20 times during the debate.
