The 1972 silver sedan is registered to Rangel, who is already under investigation by the House Ethics Committee, and is parked in a coveted section of an indoor lot, near elevators that lead to his office.
House rules forbid use of the garage for long-term storage more than 45 days - and congressional aides told The Post that Rangel's car has been sitting there for years.
The veteran Harlem Democrat, who is chairman of the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee, is under fire for numerous lapses.

Massa, you surely can pick 'em...
An episode of "Overhaulin'" to Rangel's Car....
Foose gets started on it after stealing from the Garage...
Half way through he gets indited and the Fed's show up and the car remains in pieces!
Then it’s about time to quit referring to his race; and start thinking about jailing this crook. I don’t care if he is pink with green polka dots. He’s stealing just like who knows how many others.
We need to seriously get rid of these creeps; and if we don’t do it; no one else will.
No, nothing will happen on Pelosi and Reid’s end.........but Rangel has A LOT to worry about from the DOJ, FEC, SEC and IRS.
Figgers.
They could only get Al Capone on tax law breaking no other things would get a conviction, Why noy corrupt charlie?
You got that right PLUS he's a Democrat, too.
Not so sure....they are all afraid of Black Backlash.
He only uses it while Congress is in recess and he's home and cruising Harlem for chicks.
Well hell, what did you expect him to do with his junk car? Put it up on blocks behind his house? Next to his satellite dish and basketball goal?
You can put a nice suit on a lowlife bum and he’s still a bum.
Hey . . . ain’t y’all got the message yet?
They’s kings and king makers and then they’s y’all serfs and slaves.
The Bro LIKES being slave master now.
He ain’t about to give up his kingship until they drag him away screaming.
Git used to it whitey!

Er. They couldn't bother to mention that WE lease that big ole car for him?!
From WCBS TV:
You may not realize it, but members of the House of Representatives can lease a car and have it paid for by you -- the taxpayer. And it's not just the car, but gas, registration, insurance the works.Ya know, I'm beginning to thing Rangel honestly believes we'll buy into all his crapola. He really is that "out of touch", as his comrades like to say.And as CBS 2 HD found out, there's no limit on how much they can spend.
Congressman Charles Rangel was recently seen getting out of his Cadillac DeVille, which he leases for $774 per month....
All those leases are picked up by taxpayers through a little-known program available only to members of the House of Representatives.
Rangel spoke to CBS 2 HD by phone about the seemingly extravagant expenses being racked up on the taxpayers' dime:
CBS 2 HD: "How would you answer those people who say, 'Well, but it's taxpayer money. Instead of $700 a month, could you find something for, say, $300 a month?'"
Rangel: "I could probably find something for ... one of those red cars and then I think my constituents would say, 'With all the money that he gets, this is the respect he shows us?'" [The GALL of the man!]
Earlier, Rangel released a statement, further addressing the issue.
"When I'm in New York, my car is my office. I use it to conduct Congressional business. It really pleases me that (my constituents) appreciate driving in a comfortable car, especially the senior citizens," Rangel said.
"The car isn't just a vehicle for getting around; it's an important part of doing my job and my constituents appreciate it."

Sorry for the double post.
Rangel’s constituents DO buy his spittle. That’s how he and braindead fools like Maxine Waters keep getting re-elected! We have enclaves all over America that have been programmed to produce such stupidity. The democrap party depends upopn them for elections, just elections ... the modern slave class don’tchaknow.
BTTT.

"I told you I am not discussing that," Rangel told The Post yesterday.
"I want to be kind and gentle - please let me be."
(edit)
"Neither Rangel nor his lawyer, Lanny Davis, would respond to questions about whether Rangel had declared the income, as required by the IRS."

To All... please see some excellent posts by FReeper ETL and others in this thread for some illustrations of the "kind and gentle" Charlie Rangel...I suppose it all makes sense if one views openly Communist organizations as "kind and gentle"
