some miscommunication because this was never billed to us as a partisan political event

Hmmm... If both parties are in attendance represented equally, that would make it "bipartisan". By pulling out, she effectively "made" it partisan. This is a poor cover argument for someone who simply fears (my opinion) being upstaged in public. Personally, I think it would be good for Hillary to retain her female supporters by standing with Palin. But, then again, she may not *want* the support of "those" women.

Clearly there was some miscommunication because this was never billed to us as a partisan political event.

And having both parties represented by high profile figures would be partisan political how precisely? I just can't follow liberal logic sometimes.

Hillary was afraid she’d make a fool of herself by coming on to the Governor.

"Clearly there was some miscommunication because this was never billed to us as a partisan political event. Sen. Clinton will therefore not be attending this event."

Um, Phil, sweetie. . .when they invite people from both parties it is called being NON-partisan.

What a maroon.
