That's funny--one of the two discussions I found said almost exactly that same thing. Can you tell from the content which one it was?

But my point was really that a little Googling turned up two contradictory discussions of Hebrew grammar, both attempting to resolve apparent contradictions in the Bible, and both absolutely sure they were right. I think it'd help if you provided a link to the interpretation you accept and explain why you think it's authoritative.
