Thanks AQ,yeah Cuba is not quite wide enough to kill Ike,it may regenerate to a cat 2 or 3 and then hit somewhere in Texas although they keep pointing it at NO.

I saw pictures somewhere on the web, can't recall where, of waves crashing over high rises on the Cuban Coast where it hit as a weak 4.

I FReeper posted them on the Hurrican Ike live thread, and I saw them there. Very big, bad waves.
