>>>Hope they never take in another dime from any self respecting conservative

Did you even read what I posted ? As far as it goes if the Palin campaign used Barracuda then Heart will get royalties for its use, and the free advertising will sell additional Heart albums.

It’s not a question of Heart making money from conservatives. It’s the VP candidate’s campaign and supporters locking her in as a character in a song about liars and cheats, untrustworthy people of bad character. People who should “burn burn burn”. With all the talk about vetting, somebody for sure didn’t vet the music.

This is one issue the supporters would be very smart to just quietly drop, and walk away.

Yep.

The song isn't flattery of barracudas...

Your points are very well taken. My over-arching point was not whether or not Palin should use the song, as I’m sure you understand. Personally, I couldn’t care less if I ever heard the song again. I simply used the story as a launching pad to illustrate yet another way of pointing out the inherent hypocricy in the feminist doctrines born in the 1960s (and still alive today).

Your take is very good.

Thanks for responding.

Yes, it’s like read the LYRICS! They don’t need that “Barracuda” or these two witches approval. They should have Gretchen Wilson write and sing a song called “Sarahcuda”. John Rich already wrote “Raising McCain” so why not his buddy writing one for Sarah? Gretchen’s awesome.
