Sarah Palin now that I am age 38. I think she might just be THE ONE.

Jindal and Palin are going to be the new GOP standard bearers, McCain is merely a transitional figure. The GOP may have some rough times in the immediate future, but the future is bright.

That is how I view this election.. Basically one group handing the torch over to the next group..

“Jindal and Palin are going to be the new GOP standard bearers...”

Wonderful observation, and true! It’s a good time to be alive and politically aware, that’s for sure.

It’s about d@mn time, too! Yeesh! We’ve had to put up with a lot, haven’t we? ;)

McCain is more than a transitional figure. He is the savior of the GOP. McCain has laid out the path to victory for Republicans this election, if they are smart enough to follow it. He smacked them across the back of the head with it like a 2x4, so perhaps even the most entrenched Washington insider might have looked up from his cocktail glass and taken note. Reform. Reform. Reform. Stop wasting the taxpayers money. Get back to serving the people, not their own self interests. It is a message that is Ronald Reagan at his very core. All Republicans running this election ignore it to their own detriment.

If Republicans in congress want to win, they will run against Nancy Pelosi and the do-nothing congress of '07-'08. They will ask the question, "Are you better off now since the Democrats took over?" Then they will run an anti-pork reform campaign promising to partner with President McCain to clean up Washington. Lucky for Republicans they are not the incumbents. Now, will they be smart enough to figure that out for themselves, and run accordingly?
