Jindal and Palin are going to be the new GOP standard bearers, McCain is merely a transitional figure. The GOP may have some rough times in the immediate future, but the future is bright.
That is how I view this election.. Basically one group handing the torch over to the next group..

McCain has laid out the path to victory for Republicans this election, if they are smart enough to follow it. He smacked them across the back of the head with it like a 2x4, so perhaps even the most entrenched Washington insider might have looked up from his cocktail glass and taken note. Reform. Reform. Reform. Stop wasting the taxpayers money. Get back to serving the people, not their own self interests. It is a message that is Ronald Reagan at his very core. All Republicans running this election ignore it to their own detriment.
