Not sure how to post a link to a Gannett newspaper. Link only.
Link and first couple sentences?
It won’t let me
Copy and paste the link(URL) only. No content from Gannett sites is allowed.
Question: Why would you want to? Are there any Gannett papers still being read?
USA Today, the flagship of Neuharth’s media empire, has at least one great practical benefit. Spending a great deal of time on the road, the paper makes for a good floor mat. I enjoy wipping my shoes across the front page each morning I leave my hotel.
It will let you post the link in the comment section. Do not quote too much of the article.
"Journalists viewed below used car salesmen," Local Rag, February 30, 2008, page A1 or 'online, local news section'and leave it at that. Most of the big stuff is also covered by your local TV station on their Web site and they don't have their heads as far up as Gannett.
Finally, if there is no link, there are no clicks. The Dino's haven't figured out that excerpts with links drive eyeballs to their Web sites. Let Gannett sink under the weight of their idiotic business policy.
