The blessing out of this Obama-sanctioned attack is my family finally sees.
I am the only Republican among my siblings (6 of them) and we are mixed race (part being American black). I asked them to listen to Rush last week as he highlighted the radical associations of Obama. They told me they listened. But with the weekend attacks on the Palin family, they are furious with Obama and democrats for the first time that I can recall. We had an almost 2 hour call last night and they were clear that they will not vote democrat this year. And neither will their children. One niece was in the same situation and married the father - they are now happy with three sons. A nephew had the same situation when he was 22 and he is married with 4 daughters.
Dem attempts to go Chicago-style in a national election will backfire in ways they never expected. Many young people will empathize with Bristol and many parents have a sense of how Mr. and Mrs. Palin feel.
What was that Obama said in PA, ‘they don’t know who they’re messing with’ (paraphrasing)? Well Obama, it’s you who doesn’t understand who’s listening, thinking AND VOTING.
