I just posted this on another thread so apologies...a brief summary of today's opening:

RUSH: Sarah Palin is Clarence Thomas 2008...it will take ALL our support and vigilance to beat this back. This woman proves that feminism in not about women but a mask for liberalism. This attack to destroy her daughter is beyond the pale. This is rallying millions of voters and, frankly, I hope they keep it up. This is about rallying the Republican base around McCain...this woman runs a state that produces 20% of this nation’s energy. She fills so many bills and this irritates the Dems and Drive-Bys. She is exactly what a woman should be—if they were honest, they too, would be embracing Sarah Palin.
