Two friends of mine married their pregnant girlfriends at age 18 and they are still married, both for 40+ years. So don’t say that “The marriage won’t last. they are too young.”
We just had a couple here that celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary...and they married at 16. Older marriages are actually a big risk, because people are too set in their ways to change. Marrying young and idealistic and working on it is great.

I married at 16 and just celebrated my 26th anniversary. My husband was 19.
Why so jerky?
My sister married at 15, she was pregnant. They have been married for 41 years and have 4 children and too many grandchildren to count. My sister in law married at 15, too, and has been married for 43 years with 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Just because they are young doesn’t mean they won’t make it. They have a better chance having been taught good family values then the libs who marry at 30.
