I realize that. But pointing out one matter of bad behavior, doesn't excuse other bad behavior.

And dragging Reagan into this argument to somehow give it validity or credibility, is specious at best. Pure sophistry more in tune with the liberal mindset.

Given the despair that I am told permeated the country during the Carter years, I cannot say what I would have done. I was a flaming liberal in my teens and early twenties.
