Do these people really expect to be taken seriously? After decades of urging women to get out of the house, and supporting abortion, they’re suddenly worried about who’s taking care of the baby? These people are shameless.
Typical democRat tactic, out-shouting anyone who doesn't toe the dimlib line. You can't have a discussion with them. I once worked with a dimlib who came through the breakroom with the throwaway comment the we need to get out of Iraq ASAP, to which I responded that we have to finish the job first. He didn't break his stride, shouting some incoherent babble until he was back out the door. Someone else said we shouldn't discuss politics at work, and I said it's national defense, not politics.

Kolokotronis, I really respect you. You always provide tremendous insight on the Religion threads. That being said, I really have to disagree with you when you said, “Palin has rejected God’s gift...” She has embraced him with open arms. IMHO, having a down’s syndrome baby and becoming VP is showing to all those that might chose to abort after a Down’s diagnosis, “Hey, she’s like us.” Can you imagine how many lives that might save?

What is there in caring for a D. S. baby that a responsible teen could not handle? I’m know that Down babies often have medical issued, such as heart defects. But, beyond that, what are the challenges?

If she was a he with the same record I’d be gaga over him. It has nothing to do with her sex, it has to do with the fact that she appears to be a real conservative, not some worn out political hack and not a communist.

Wier doesn’t understand. Palin was likely given the opportunity to dispose of the defective kid during pregnancy - she didn’t. Wier would have, most emphatically, caused it to happen. Poor Wier.
