What a concept. A family taking care of each other!

“Does she have a husband? Oh, yes, I think she does. In fact, I believe they even stated he would be the main caretaker while she was at work.
Are you saying a man is unable to care for his own children?”

EVERYTHING has changed for those people with the birth of this little boy and trust me, neither Palin nor her husband nor her teenage kids have even the remotest clue what they are in for. I have no idea if her husband can take care of that baby. Alone, with her out playing political games, I doubt it. Palin has rejected God’s gift for the praise of this world and a shot a power.

I know, my 25 year old son with Down Syndrome is sitting in the next room watching Big Bird tapes. Gov. Palin has no business running for VP under these circumstances.

Oh horseshit.

She did publicly state that they had vast help with aunts, uncles, grandparents. Her office staff said she keeps the baby nearby. No doubt they can hire more help. These “kill it if it is inconvenient” people could care less about what happens to that baby. They are running scared. Someone needs to turn tables as suggested in a post yesterday and ask what on earth Biden did with his sons when his wife died.

Enlightened reply. Are you proud?

Watched the video; Cokie’s remark seemed like tactical advice to the Dem’s rather than an emotional “whack”.

In any case.

Where are all the polls? We are two days past the messiah’s speech and their convention.

I imagine the various tentacles of the MSM are looking at the initial readings in horror. If there were any possible way they could hold off on releasing any polls until after the Republican convention, I'm sure they would. And for all I know, they may just spike the whole poll thing until the hurricanes hit ground, then release them 'into the wind' while attention is focused elsewhere.

Of the many varieties of liberal and conservative and general news sites I've been plowing through, there seems to be three main types of responses.

The pundits, who are unused to actually thinking, and are being vaguely and non-commitally negative, until they figure out what all their pundit neighbors are thinking. Much like 14 year olds unsure if something sucks or is actually very cool, and are awaiting peer consensus to form.

The Obamicons, who are foaming at the mouth and hissing like burned snakes. (I could elaborate on the gory details, but why bother?)

Every else, who is anywhere from mildly positive to over the top positive.

As an analyst of sorts in real life, when you see certain patters emerging, you know that something is up. When you see several emerging patterns starting to fall together, and realize they're going to line up like giant gears, you realize that things are about to get interesting.

Folks, things are about to get interesting.

Yeah, that’s not the point. Make it look like since these people are so “concerned,” she will welcome their help.

I totally agree with this assessment - because Obama choose a mature white guy - which is the other group Obama badly needs. I presume most democrat black women will vote for Obama

I’m not sure Hillary’s women will choose Palin - especially since there is video of Palin saying she thought Hillary was whining too much about media coverage - and Palin’s comments indicated she thought media coverage was just part of the game and there was no need to complain about it. Palin’s comments will be offensive to the easily offended - ala Hillary people.

And .. as VP, Palin will have all sorts of aides and a housekeeper, nurses, etc. at her disposal .. I just don’t see why her baby would ever be neglected. Besides, her husband is already willing to be active in the home caring for their children .. and with two older daughters to help him .. I don’t even consider this an issue.

The liberals are stupid .. when they are terrified of a person .. they just try to destroy them personally .. nothing new from the Obama camp.

Oh horseshit.

Captured my thoughts exactly and to Kolo I say that Palin is not "rejecting" her child, she chose to have it and not abort it, you statement about rejecting her child is just nonsense.

Parents with special needs children do other things than attend the child just as you are with your son happily doing something nearby. Palin’s staff in Alaska noted she has the baby nearby. Many working mothers take their children even when they travel accompanied by another person to help. Palin’s child will be exposed to wonderful and exciting experiences and will no doubt blossom to a greater degree because of that.

I think people are ignoring the unspoken text here. These liberal b*stards pretend to be concerned that this “special needs” kid, who they pretend won’t get enough care from his mother.

What they don’t say is what THEY would have done to solve the problem. They would have aborted him as an inconvenience.

Certainly that’s what Obama would have done. And what he has promised to do if his young daughters ever get stuck with an inconvenient baby.

Don’t know anything about Mr. Palin’s home life

Read this: Todd Palin unique among nation's 5 first husbands. He is just as genuine and they make an incredible team. Not to mention that our FR sisters have a Todd Pic Rule to go along the the new Sarah Rule.

Isn’t it astonishing how last century even these young newscasters are? They are SUCH girlymen. None of them could begin to handle the life that Sarah Palin does on a daily basis. They would assume the fetal position in the corner of the room.

Still, they grovel at every NOW woman who comes along. Go figure.

Yes, and I should think that the child’s father is perfectly capable of helping to keep the baby happy and healthy.

The Palin’s son is leaving for Iraq on Sept. 11! And Gov. Palin said “We are very, very proud of him, and of all our men and women who are serving”.

There are photos of Gov. Palin visiting a wounded soldier on another thread which.

Don, with all due respect, that’s simply untrue. Those teenagers haven’t a clue what to do with a new special needs baby. ________________________________ I guess it depends on the family, the upbringing and the "yes we can" spirit of the family. I'd say this family does have a clue and they are living it. But I guess there are those out there with a "no we can't" mentality. I'll side with the "yes we can" family any day. Funny, I thought one of the Obama jingles was "yes we can"
