Caribou and antelope, IMO, are about the best meat eating experience I have ever had. Tenders are called that for a reason and both tenderloin and steak are only a small portion of any animal. One can get tired of ground meat and since a live moose is about 1,000 pounds, I am thinking that one can become partial to recipes that can slow cook and be tasty.Moose steak is wonderful and I am sure slow cooked moose stew has a lot of flavor, too.

Interestingly enough, there has recently been a foodie trend towards game and in the UK, a return to traditional hunting recipes among cutting-edge chefs. Various organ/offal recipes have even appeared on the cooking shows within the past year, as chefs strive to waste less. Sarah Palin may be found to be more of a genuine gourmet than BO. Around here, even the vegetarians will make an exception for venison.

I could look forward to a VPOTUS who can shoot, butcher and cook her own game. This woman will be a spokesperson for land owners, hunters, fishermen and, by extension, private property rights.

And, unlike our current VP, if she shots someone while hunting we will know it wasn't an accident!
