It Took a Woman

I've been a conservative for as long as I have been able to vote. But the last few years (about 20) have really been a disappointment to me as far as the republican party is concerned.

We had both houses AND the Presidency and we pissed it all away by trying to appease the other side and trying to be "friends" with them. Well folks it just doesn't work that way.

Every time we have an actual CONSERVATIVE on the ticket we win!! How hard is that to understand? Putting REAL conservatives on the ticket will result in a win in almost all elections.

So...why did it take a woman to finally get the party energized? Because all of the men have been playing soft ball instead of stepping up to the plate and playing hard ball!

Thank you John McCain for picking Sarah Palin and energizing the party I once knew. Now it's time for the real men to step up to the plate and knock it out of the park!!

As my six year old granddaughter would say, "Now that's what I'm talking about!"

From what I recall, she's the mother of five well fed children. No need for pant suits for her.

That John McCain does have a good eye for women.

And talk about eyes. WOW!

Yep, it's been months since I was enthused about the election and the next four years. Can't say that about today! Woohoo!

An absolutely brilliant move by McCain... and a secret he kept even more brilliantly.

My question is: when can we take back the term “liberal” (with a little ‘L’) since that is what we really are?

The Big “L” Liberals are so nefarious and know that their policies and ideas are so wrong that they actually absconded with our word to try and fool people into voting for them and following them.

Just watch this Milton Friedman video:

Sincerely,

JoMa

I was certainly energized. As I've said before "I am all for Palin. McCain gets my collateral vote".

Being from Maine, you can imagine my pain! Ahemm...Snowe...cough cough...Collins.

I’m so happy with this choice. Have you seen the photage of her with the Bushmaster at the range?! Amazing!

Great post! Unlike Michelle’O, wife of psuedo-deity, I’ve always been proud of being an American, and today, my chest sticks out a little further.

Bump To The Top!

Not because she is a woman, but because she is a Conservative.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the "undecided" or "not for either McCain or Obama" choices in the polls. There's a theory that they represent people who are looking for a reason to vote Obama, but just haven't gotten there yet. Those folks should have been sold on his Thursday night speech.

My theory is that this group is the "I really can't vote for McCain, but I'd never vote for Obama" people, and if that group is swayed by the pick of Gov. Palin, then we will see the polls break the GOP's way in the next week.

I'd rather take back the term "conservative" because that is what we REALLY are.
