Ha! Say the Online Hillary Supporters [Rat Remorse Alert]
Washington Post ^ | August 28, 2008 | Krissah Williams Thompson

Posted on 08/29/2008 11:01:39 AM PDT by Zakeet

Stalwart online supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton -- are fired up this morning by the announcement that Sen. John McCain has chosen Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate.

The common refrain: "Obama will regret not choosing Hillary now!"

Taylor Marsh, a Las Vegas blogger who developed a large following of Clintonites during the primary, wrote this morning that: "This is a move to peel off disaffected HRC voters. I guess McCain thinks they're stupid and willing to vote for any woman. Rabidly pro life, an NRA member, she's not exactly a champion of women's civil rights. We'll have to see where she stands on health care and equal pay. But one thing this does is keep Hillary Clinton in the forefront throughout the general election. We'll be hearing the phrase 'Hillary Clinton voters' until November."

A post on Tennessee Guerrilla Women, a blog run by Hillary supporters in the state, said the Palin pick will cause large numbers of women to "once again tune into politics. And karma will once again prove to be a total [pain] for Barack Obama and the party elders of the undemocratic Democratic Party!

"Barack Obama should have begged Hillary Rodham Clinton to be on his Democratic ticket. John McCain may well be about to bring that chilling fact home to Barack Obama."

At //texasdarlin.wordpress.com, a very pro-Hillary website, 95-100% of the comments today have been “I’m Voting For McCain/Palin.”

“I guess McCain thinks they’re stupid and willing to vote for any woman.”

Well, blacks are stupid enough to vote for ANY black American candidate.... what’s the difference?

Correction: Blacks won't vote for any Black who is anti-abortion, anti-"gay," or pro-Israel (they're called "uncle toms" and "not really Black").

To all the HRC supporters here at FR who say Palin is not like Hillary and you think McCain duped you: Of course Palin is not Hillary. We are Republicans with different values than you and we do not want a Hillary and we are not trying to appease you.

Palin is a Conservative. That's what WE want! If you want a Hillary type, then go moan to your Democratic Party who threw you all under the bus!

Palin is ours. And she is the PERFECT choice! And besides, what's wrong with NOT killing babies?

Hillary will have to rethink her bid for POTUS in 2012, I do believe America has the dream candidate in Sarah Palin who as McCain's V.P. America’s can feel safe and expect much – I doubt even Pelosi and Reid will get by with their dirty politics With Obama and shop-worn Biden, America should worry non stop about raising welfare up again to new heights, taxes, taxes, taxes and messing with health care to education, all of which are loaded with money and poor management by Bureaucrats and with Obama more Bureaucrats will be needed when what is needed in Washington is the fire over 50% of these dead beats.

Sarah Palin is the CHANGE. Hooray for McCain!

Hmmm. How does one arrive at adulthood and think that cowering in the face of danger and the killing of inconveniencing baby girls are “women’s civil rights”? Being a member of the NRA and “rabidly” pro-life IS championing women’s civil rights, and courageously so.

To the author of this piece, watch and learn about what it means to be a real woman and champion.

Remember that TV show where there was a woman president? Always said it was made by and FOR Hillary...a little bit of mind games for the audience.

Did that actress look like Palin?? Or is it my imagination...

That’s a picture worth at least 1000 words! As long as we’re retouching, how ‘bout a shoulder holster?

...an NRA member, she's not exactly a champion of women's civil rights...

Talk about cognitive dissonance.

The RKBA is actually a more important civil right for women than it is for men. She should flaunt the NRA membership: that'll get more votes in Pennsylvania than Joe "I'm from Scraton 55 years ago" Biden.

Love your thoughts here, they are spot on! Sarah puts the lie to “feminism” and shows America what it means to be both adult and a well rounded female. Feminism? Women’s studies? Just ways to help a woman be a victim, sad sack, spoil sport and worthless...

Obama wishes he had the experience that Palin has!

His resume would read a lot better than it currently does!

“Rabidly” Pro-Life? Such talk is wicked. Preserving life is good and there is nothing rabid or evil about that. I wonder if Krissah Williams Thompson ever considered that SHE could have been aborted?
