I don't understand justice and liberty? Tell that to two dead girls and their families why their murderers are walking the streets. They have suffered the ultimate horror in a very, very real sense and you want to talk about abstract concepts. No one is kicking in doors or rounding people up for interrogation in dank rooms. If they can eliminate the folks who didn't do the crime and focus on the people who are good suspects then maybe they get them. Otherwise, we can go back to frontier justice or rely upon the retaliatory drive by as a way to get justice with the hope that no other innocents get lynched or shot by mistake.

I agree with you here... I think some of the posters have completely lost the main point here... there is a wacko wandering around with a gun killing young girls... the police search only involves a narrow range... a specific caliber gun.

The FBI is looking for all men named "rob" on FR. You are asked to show up at the local FBI office by tomorrow at 4 pm and submit to a "rob" test. We have already reported your name and general ip address so running is futile. Oh and the FBI wants to test and record your DNA for future reference.

The dead girls are a tragedy but the cops must play by the rules.
