Another FreeRepublic Op-ed For the political season (#4 in a series)
This op-ed addresses the stunning duplicity in Obama’s presentation which is being carefully ignored in the media. When a democrat candidate tries to invoke scripture, to deceive We The People, somebody really should call the liars on it! Obama’s lack of familiarity with Bible passages glared at us from the seat next to Pastor Rick Warren, yet the media are meticulously avoiding the laser beam in their eye.

Here’s what that passage from Matthew's Gospel actually says, and please note the verse 40 admonition of doing to the least is doing to Jesus … if the children surviving an attempted abortion are not the least of Jesus‘ brethren, then there isn‘t a cow in Illinois and Barack Obama is a great Bible teacher for the democrats!

Folks, Barack Hussein Obama worked hard to prevent a bill from passing that would have protected babies who are born alive following an attempt to kill them in their mother’s womb!
When Obama stood to oppose the born alive infants protection bill, he argued that ‘to extend protection to the survivors of abortion attempts would convey personhood upon these alive, born children, and thus invoke the Constitutional protection of the fourteenth amendment.’ And according to Barack Hussein Obama protecting these babies via the Constitution would be ‘anti-abortion’ in nature so he would not support the bill! In other words, Barack Obama does not want to defend the least among us and wants to define these least as ‘not persons’ because the Constitution would protect them and Barry doesn’t want them protected and in fact wants the murder of these little ones to continue as legal slaughter of ‘the least among us.’
And Jesus instructed: “Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as ye did to one of these my brethren -- the least -- to me ye did.” … “
I seem to recall something Jesus said about millstones around the necks of those who harm one of these little ones, the least of Jesus‘ brethren. … Now what is Barry’s collar size again? Is it too early to fit him for his millstone?
The recently released Jerome Corsi book, Obama Nation, has a very damning section on Obama's demagoguing the issues we deem 'pro-life/anti-life'. Corsi highlights several points (pages 237 - 240):
1) On March 30, 2001 Obama was the ONLY Illinois senator who rose to speak against a bill that would protect babies who survive late-term abortion
2) In 1997 Obama voted in the Illinois Senate AGAINST a bill designed to prevent partial birth killing of alive, sensing unborn children
3) Obama has consistently voted to expand embryonic stem cell exploitation
4) Obama has consistently voted against requiring minors to notify their parents if they seek or obtain an out of state abortion
5) Obama is a zealous supporter of planned parenthood which operates the greatest percentage of their killing clinics in black and under privileged neighborhoods
6) Obama has told Planned Parenthood that if he is elected president he will prevent opponents of Roe v Wade from being appointed to the Supreme Court
7) Obama has consistently ignored the FACT of the great harm abortion has done to the African-American communities

If the mouth is moving of John McLaim or Barry Obama they are lieing about they have done, are doing now, or will do in the future.. One is a Weasle the other is a Skunk..
I personally couldn’t beleive he actually said that and to a religious crowd. Evidently scripture is also above his pay grade?
But there are! It is called staying in school, and getting a real job instead of going into drugs &/or prostitution; or popping out babies to get on the Welfare Wagon.
Worrying more about developing one's mind & a work ethic, than developing street cred.
And, unfortunately, we still have the remains of that other big one, Affirmative Action.
Barry’s weasling attempt to fool the crowd into believing he is somehow against abortion waw pathetic. Bottom line is Barry has a 100% rating from NARAL. McCain has a 0% rating from NARAL. It doesn’t get much clearer than that.
I’ve always thought it particularly horrible that so many blacks eagerly cooperate with the Democrats, who pay them to help kill off their own children.
In fact the origin of the eugenics movement in the U.S. began with white, neo-Darwinist racists such as Margaret Sanger, who wanted to kill off the children of those whom they considered to be inferior—blacks, Indians, Asians, and so on.
This was Obama's BIGGEST gaffe of the night.
Immediately, as Obama said this answer, I thought, "how can he say this and not see that 'the least of my brothers' HAS to apply to the unborn???!!!" How does Obama consider himself a Christian and NOT see that this passage does apply to unborn children, surely, "the least" of Jesus's brothers in the modern world???
Then didn't he also try to explain that Jesus would be pro-choice? Obama claimed that answering in specificity about when a child deserves rights was "above his pay grade" and yet it has not been above his pay grade for him to declare with specificity when a child DOES NOT deserve rights. He can't have it both ways. His answer contradicts his policy positions, his actions, words, and record.
No, Mr. Obama, Jesus would not support the liberal abortion policies of the Democrats. Jesus would include the unborn among "the least of my brothers."
This thread is about Barry Soetoro, not McPain. Personally, I think JOhn McCain showed he’s presidential material last night, and Barry showed he’s color commentator material for MSNBC or CNN or Hell, but not ready for primetime in the White House.
His handlers fed him that line as a way to woo the congregants. It is unlikely he ever actually read the passage in context since he failed miserably to recognize the judgment he was heaping upon himself by claiming that passage for his impetus!
P.S. Someone should remind Barry that he is running for the highest “pay grade” there is. He darn well should have an opinion on when life begins.

That it was an astonishing gaffe escaped the media all together it appears ... or is it that they have so little familiarity with the scriptures and can be manipulated so easily? ... This election cycle is more disgusting than any I can remeber, and I’m 63, so I even recall the Stevenson/Ike battle for the nomination.
