Skip to comments.Wild theories of 'Obama Nation' author [Corsi, FR]

The folks behind The Obama Nation, the wildly successful but factually disputed new book trashing presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, are casting it as a scholarly, thoroughly researched work.
But its author has left a trail of wild theories, vitriol and dogma that have called into question his credibility.
Jerome Corsi, who rose to prominence as the co-author of a book attacking 2004 Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, penned another tome asserting oil is a nearly infinite resource that continues to generate naturally, and posted a series of online comments through 2004, including suggestions that Hillary Rodham Clinton is a lesbian and Muslims worship Satan.
In an interview with Politico, Corsi pointed out that hes apologized for Internet postings ripping Muslims and Catholics, and said they dont undermine the integrity of his new book.
I wrote those to be provocative and I said I would not use that kind of politically incorrect language again, and I dont believe I have, he said.
But his outrageous assertions and fringe theories which include allegations that President Bush worked to eliminate the borders with Mexico and Canada and the assertion that Kerry is a Communist have hurt his credibility on the right, as well.
Corsis co-author on the Kerry attack book, Swift Boat Veterans for Truth spokesman John O'Neill, downplayed Corsis role after the left-leaning press watchdog group Media Matters exposed Corsis venomous postings in the conservative blogosphere.
On the blog FreeRepublic.com, Corsi wrote that pedophilia is OK with the Pope as long as it isn't reported by the liberal press, that RAGHEADS are Boy-Bumpers as clearly as they are Women-Haters and that Kerry is Anti-Christian, Anti-American.

I see FR is back to being a blog, again. *sigh*
That's 100% true.
I didn’t know he was a FReeper.
Meaning this phrase of course.
But, of course, since they lobbed that phrase at the GOP first, it can only apply to the right side of the aisle. *sigh*
Yes, he should never have tried to impugn the impeccable reputation of one John Forbes Kerry. /s
Or perhaps don't use your real name to post.
In the beginning, most outrageous truths are difficult to digest. No one wanted to believe Kerry only needed a band aid for a wound he requested a purple heart for, either.
No doubt about that. Kerry has been spitting on America and Christian values his whole career. What I am trying to figure out is how was John Edwards being 99% honest when he was lying. What kind of new math is that?
Is this all they have on Corsi?
On Larry King last night, Corsi said he was a Libertarian and didn’t plan to vote for McCain.
Hell Jim. He has a pretty good batting average. He was wrong about the Pope not caring about pedophiles, but other than that, it’s hard to argue with his comments on Comrade Kerry or the islamists.
I remember when one media outlet called us “Free Republican.”
How do they know his Free Republic name?
The Steel family is going to be so disappointed with me.
Is William Edgar Borah taken?
...and everywhere else.
Hang in there, Corsi!
