Operation Brimstone ended only one week ago. This was the joint US/UK/French naval war games in the Atlantic Ocean preparing for a naval blockade of Iran and the likely resulting war in the Persian Gulf area. The massive war games included a US Navy supercarrier battle group, an US Navy expeditionary carrier battle group, a Royal Navy carrier battle group, a French nuclear hunter-killer submarine plus a large number of US Navy cruisers, destroyers and frigates playing the "enemy force".
The lead American ship in these war games, the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN71) and its Carrier Strike Group Two (CCSG-2) are now headed towards Iran along with the USS Ronald Reagon (CVN76) and its Carrier Strike Group Seven (CCSG-7) coming from Japan.
They are joining two existing USN battle groups in the Gulf area: the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN72) with its Carrier Strike Group Nine (CCSG-9); and the USS Peleliu (LHA-5) with its expeditionary strike group.
Likely also under way towards the Persian Gulf is the USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7) and its expeditionary strike group, the UK Royal Navy HMS Ark Royal (R07) carrier battle group, assorted French naval assets including the nuclear hunter-killer submarine Amethyste and French Naval Rafale fighter jets on-board the USS Theodore Roosevelt. These ships took part in the just completed Operation Brimstone...

I’m not sure it’s true. Most articles, like Jpost’s goes back to a Kuwait paper and they just be trying to get the price of oil up
For the same reason Russia uses the timing of the Olympics, this would be the perfect time to destroy Iran's enrichment facilities & stock piles while driving the point home that Iran will NEVER be in possession of a nuclear warhead.
Not to mention the deterence factor toward Russia's own moves in Southern Georgia which are clearly aligned toward opening up a walk through path into Northern Iran.
Very dangerous chess game going on here, but not nearly as dangerous as waiting and doing nothing.

Israel must be the air force involved in attacking Iran! Otherwise any aggression will be our own diplomatic mess. Any retaliation with nuclear weapons will all fall on us! Imagine the MSM howling about the evil American Empire, it would put Barack Obanana in the WH in a landslide! It won't just be Iran, but Egypt, Pakistan etc,,, those that have operational nukes with spread them around under a new Caliph who will be anointed to merge every ME country into a single Caliphate in response to a US attack on Iran. Israel does this type of mission without any new sensationalism. The muslims expect Israel to attack Iran, but not the USA. We could even lease them some of our aerial tankers to help them fly to the target and back in route. We can't afford to be the Big Satan in this event. If Israel won't clean up their own messes, why should we? We have granted them 20-30 Billion in "loans" which will never be paid back, we shouldn't also commit to carry their drinking water any longer. If they do not want to fight to save their country why shold we?

The USS Iwo Jima and USS Peleliu Expeditionary Strike Groups have USMC Harrier jump jets and an assortment of assault and attack helicopters. The Expeditionary Strike Groups have powerful USMC Expeditionary Units with amphibious armor and ground forces trained for operating in shallow waters and in seizures of land assets, such as Qeshm Island (a 50 mile long island off of Bandar Abbas in the Gulf of Hormuz and headquarters of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps).
French pilots do train on US carriers. They use the same types of catapults and landing systems as US carriers.

Since posting the above, I’ve read some prophetic docs which convince me that I am likely wrong about the import of this attack by Russia.
The assertions in the docs are that this will evolve into Ezekiel 38 at some point . . . that Russia is more or less preparing the route for that attack on Israel . . . and that the implications of this attack on Georgia are significantly greater than I’d thought.
We shall see. I have long felt that China was one of the submitted kings under the AntiChrist which Revelation etc depict as in an uneasy alliance with him etc. Russia may well be another. I think there are 3, IIRC.
