In the late 60s and early 70s I played with several “horn bands”. When we ran out of Beach Music (Showmen, Rondells, Chairmen of the Board) we played Grass Roots, Union Gap, Rascals and Shondells. By ‘72 and ‘73 we had moved on to Three Dog Night, Chicago, BS&T, Buddy Miles, Classics IV and Lighthouse type stuff, but its all nostalgic to me and everything progressed as the artists matured.
