One question, How would banning “no knock warrants” stop criminals from doing this type of thing? It seems that banning those warrants would only stop the police from serving them. Having them banned will not stop criminals. Just like locks do not stop criminals and so forth and so on.

No argument just a thought!

Easy...

Once banned, I can rest assured it is only criminals I'm shooting coming through my door.

If no knock warrants are banned, anyone busting down the door is a black hat and well within the ROE. Of course, IMHO, that’s true, anyway.

It would stop it for one reason. Anyone breaking into a home shouting police when no knock warrants were not allowed, as the constitution forbids them, then no one would be fooled and would shoot a lot sooner. The victims wouldn’t wait until it was to late and criminals would know that. If you can’t see that, then I feel sorry for you.

Many armed people freeze when they think it is the police. This gives thug invaders an invaluable advantage. The breaking down of the door should be a signal for immediate self-defense, not a government inquiry.
