As you said, "The nomination of John McCain proves that Rush Limbaugh greatly overrates his influence in the Republican Party."
If this is true, and I will grant that it may be, how can you believe that Rush Limbaugh DOES have enough influence with the general electorate to affect John McCain?
Not enough influence in the Republican Party to stop John McCain in the primary, but enough influence with the general electorate to prevent John McCain from winning in the general election?
It is so illogical, it can't be taken seriously. Only a passion induced by fear and misunderstanding could produce such twisted logic.
I am also fearful of the consequences of a Democrat taking the White House in 2009. But I have no irrational misconception about whose fault it will be.
Well said.
Very nice, T.
