Hillary Clinton May Allow Her Name to Be Placed in Nomination at the Democratic Convention - Video

Here is video of Sen. Hillary Clinton speaking to a gathering of supporters recently, where she strongly hinted at the possibility that she will support a move to have her name place in nomination at the upcoming Democratic National Convention in order to bring about a Roll Call Vote giving her supporters the opportunity to actually vote on her behalf. Below the video clip are more details on the story . . . (see video)

Sen. Hillary Clinton told a gathering of supporters last week that she's looking for a "strategy" for her delegates to have their voices heard and "respected" at the Democratic National Convention -- and did not rule out the possibility of having her name placed into nomination at the convention alongside Sen. Barack Obama's.

"I happen to believe that we will come out stronger if people feel that their voices were heard and their views were respected. I think that is a very big part of how we actually come out unified," Clinton, D-N.Y., said at a California fundraiser last Thursday, in a video clip captured by an attendee and posted on YouTube.

"Because I know from just what I'm hearing, that there's incredible pent-up desire. And I think that people want to feel like, 'OK, it's a catharsis, we're here, we did it, and then everybody get behind Sen. Obama.' That is what most people believe is the best way to go," she said.

"No decisions have been made. And so we are trying to work all this through with the DNC and with the Obama campaign."

Me too. :)

I don't want to be standing anywhere near their convention site when this happens.

I’m just waiting for some huge scandal about The Chosen One to break just prior to the convention (or even during it) and then have Her Thighness lobby the superdelegates to switch their votes to her.

I don't want to be standing anywhere near, either, but I certainly plan to lay in a good supply of popcorn and turn the tv on--LOL!

It's gonna get to where the poor dims won't be able to figure out who to throw their sh#t at, and they'll be left with a warehouse full of it.......

It doesn't matter, McCain will be President.

If the Dems try to pull this off they will look ridiculous.

They will look unorganized and silly.

They will lose the black vote even with Obama on as VP.

They will have only 2 months to gain ground after the Republican Convention.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Hillary get her ass kicked by McCain after he soundly kicks Obama's. How glorious would it be for McCain to beat both the Dem nominees in the same election.

I also hear Obama has asked that Michigan and Florida be seated. God certainly takes the wise in their own craftiness.

I think if some scandal erupts, it will be interesting to see how he responds to it. The Democratic tactic for dealing with any scandal usually involves feigning outrage, claims that the source of the scandal isn't credible, or makes statements that the scandal is "old news" that's been previously addressed.

If Obama does none of those, and just acknowledges whatever hypothetical scandal exists, I'd say the fix is in, and this has been the plan all along. He'll want to be careful how he goes about it, so as not to incite blacks to violence. If any of his supporters see his potential stepping down as racially-motivated, there will be riots.

While she knows she could not win this year I am convinced Hillary will do everything in her power to ensure that BO loses in November. Then she will have 4 years to work on her negatives. That leaves her open for another run in 2012.

Power is the only thing that matters to either Clinton.

My sister left leaning sister really dislikes the Clintoons and is so excited about Obama. She had no choice but to vote for Bush twice, even tho he is pro life, so it's a really big deal for her.

I love my sister, but how funny would it be if Hilry crashed the party! lol

What ever happens, the Rumble in Denver will be worth watching. Its going to be a real show. I don’t think Hillary could come out on top short of some major scandal (and it would have to be big—really big) or an “accident” that knocks out Obama (Cancer of the Brain?). The likelihood of this happening is astronomical. Still, Obama is making some foolish mistakes. The Convention will hold some surprises, I think. It is not going to be an Obama love fest like some wanted. Good theater in any case.

You mean like him not being able to prove he is a naturalized citizen?
