Is this satire? Really. It is impossible to tell.

If they won’t reveal the name of the network then I refuse to accept this as authentic.

“We may also have to cut away from McCain’s speech once or twice. Real Salt Lake is playing Chivas USA that night in a huge Major League Soccer match.”
The memo is just a bad joke. Everyone knows that no one cares about soccer.

Satire folks. Then again, this sounds like MSNBC.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this memo were proven to be true, but I’ll not take it seriously until that’s the case.

Sounds like the fake Janet Reno memo about labelling Christians as extremists.

I missed the assignations regarding the teams of talented journalists they have assigned to cover the racist, exclusionary, hateful white Christian male angle.

We may also have to cut away from McCain's speech once or twice. Real Salt Lake is playing Chivas USA that night in a huge Major League Soccer match. I think this is an example of the famed midwestern pulling-your-leg sense of humor.

What is it with all the doubting posts above?
This is POWERLINE Blog. These are serious and intelligent men, not satirists.
If Paul Mirengoff posted this he believes it to be solid and authentic.

Close-up shots and interviews with the meanest looking (and "largest") delegates are strongly encourage. If a delegate seems too restrained, pose well-phrased questions such as: "Are you bothered by the fact that Obama doesn't look like the presidents on our paper money?" It's satire. And pretty funny, at that!

LOL, as usual the satire is so close to the truth that it is just scary.

We may also have to cut away from McCain's speech once or twice. Real Salt Lake is playing Chivas USA that night in a huge Major League Soccer match. People, turn your brains on. This is satire.
