The liberal media are unhinged over John McCain's recent ad campaign against Barack Obama, which erased Obama's 9-point lead in the polls and tied the race. How dare McCain challenge their anointed one?
Obama is not the only one convinced he is "the one we've been waiting for." The media are also annoyed they have to endure this irritating uprising from McCain, who is officiously intermeddling with the inexorable flow of history.
Sunday show hosts, editorial pages, and both print and TV news stories this past weekend were pregnant with outrage over McCain's "negative" campaigning "negative" being defined as anything, truthful or not, that places Obama in a less favorable light than they require.
Campaigns are supposed to inform voters, and all questions should be on the table. It is not negative campaigning to enlighten voters about your opponents' positions on the issues, his qualifications or his character, so long as the information is truthful. Negative campaigning is smearing your opponent through lies and deceit.
But while we're on the subject of honest campaigning, perhaps it is time for Obama to be truthful about who he is and what he stands for instead of scrupulously concealing those things.
But the truth will come out eventually. And if you think the media are squawking now, just wait till the campaign proceeds to the point that Obama's policy and racial radicalism receive the exposure they deserve.

The only way we can defeat Obama and his Soros-backed millions and free media attention is via the internet. This must be a grassroots effort using websites, blogs, YouTube and any other cyberspace advantage including the E-MAIL addresses for every computer in America.
More people are online than there are who watch CBS, NBC and ABC.
Stop right there. But, McCain is also a heretic to conservatism.

“But while we’re on the subject of honest campaigning, perhaps it is time for Obama to be truthful about who he is and what he stands for instead of scrupulously concealing those things.”
Like the fact the father he had dreams of was a self-destructive alcoholic, who lost his legs in a car accident when he was driving under the influence?
Like the fact that his formative years were spent being educated in Indonesia (the largest Muslim country) and that he has an axe to grind against Christians and Jews, and capitalism, and free speech?
I wouldnt let that moron touch my car to check the air in the tires, much less be the leader of the free world.
I understand. Obama will be far better for our country than John McCain because John McCain is a heretic!
So instead of working to make sure that Obama is defeated, and then working to change the party from within by getting involved, we should decry McCain at every chance, which in your case is on a multitude of threads, so that he may be defeated!
That'll teach them a lesson!
I guess you really don't care what happens to your country.
Well...
"If this be treason, make the most of it!" - Patrick Henry
Once the body is dead, the only thing that "changes stuff from within" is maggots.
McCain and his gangs of bipartisan bendover compromisers have already changed the party. Look around and open your eyes.
I guess you really don't care what happens to your country.
Yes, without a new tsar, we're all gonna die! We're all doomed! Yes, Americans are unable to live and function without the Government! Yes, Western society will fall unless McCain wins! /sarc
BTTT for one helluva Virginian!
Please see Post #9.
I’m sorry but I do not accept your premise on the types of Judges McCain will nominate.
The main issue; will President Obama prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons which they will pass on to terrorists in which to attack American cities?
When we lose a couple of cities will we justifiably assign blame to the Obama Administration, the media and the Obama voters or will we give them a pass as we did with the Clinton Administration, the media and the Clinton voters after the terrorist attacks of September, 11th, 2001?
While John McCain is anything but my 1st choice for our candidate, I believe the time for arguing over this is long past since he IS the candidate. It is now time to rally around this imperfect candidate and do what is at this time the very most important thing, beat the Democrat.
I am puzzled over the many on this forum who despite the obvious facts as stated above, continue to trash the nominee as if this will somehow give us another candidate. It will not and so the question is as imperfect and awful a candidate McCain is to many of us, it cannot logically be argued that he is anywhere near as bad for this nation as would be Obama as president.
This leads me to wonder at the agenda of the McCain naysayers. Perhaps I am missing something here. Do these people who continually attack McCain suppose we can still at this late date come up with another candidate? If possible and he were a serious conservative I would be all for it but how can this ever happen? Assuming it can’t it seems all that is being accomplished by our side trashing our candidate is to help the real enemy, Obama.
Well, I’d say our chances are better with McCain than with the Marxist, closet-Muslim who was raised in the most Muslim nation in the world and only uses Christianity to promote Black Liberation Theology.
The guy is anti-Christ I’m telling you. When he stood in Germany and said: “Citizens of the World: This is our hour”. That was so anti-Christesque it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck.
Funny you should speak about corruption. Perhaps we need to dust off the books and take a closer examination at McCain's conduct with regards to the Savings & Loan charlie foxtrot over twenty years ago (otherwise known as the Keating Five scandal).
Please don't destroy our chances by trying to destroy John McCain who is pro-life and pro-Constructionist Judges.
McCain is running for the office of President of the United States of America, an officer of the Federal Government who is charged with enforcing the law. Yet, he is a leading advocate of offering amnesty to illegal aliens.
Why would I want to vote for a President who isn't even in favor of enforcing the law?
McCain is perfectly capable of destroying himself. He already has.
Oh, I see it.
But I don’t lend my support to devils, thanks.
November 8, not 11. And, that was the point where I finally got sufficiently PO-ed about the GOP, after my Senator macaca-ed himself into oblivion.
Your whole post is a vivid illustration of why McCain can’t win.
But even if he did “win”, his election would signal the total takeover of government by liberals.
Don’t try and scare me into supporting someone who will destroy my country by trotting out a boogie man who may or may not destroy it a tiny little bit more thoroughly.
Here’s a challenge for you:
Make one post for McCain that doesn’t involve Obama or the use of fear in any form.
Then run it through your credibility meter and see how lame and unbelievable it sounds.
The official Republican Party slogan for 2008:
“We have nothing to offer but fear itself.”
