“Voting for Obama is the political equivalent of bungee jumping.”

I could not of said it better, except .. maybe "voting for Obama is the political equivalent of bungee jumping with a bad bungee cord."

Obama has several fundamental misunderstandings about the country he lives in. He thinks we have 57+ states. He thinks a President serves for 8 to 10 years. He thinks multiple Presidents have had their pictures on the dollar bill. The man knows no U.S. History or U.S. Government.

“Voting for Obama is the political equivalent of bungee jumping.”

Thats a great quote, many of the bungee jumpers jump to the occasion without thinking of the consequences, usually, the young...

Voting for Obama is the political equivalent of bungee jumping from a hundred-foot tower with a two-hundred-foot cord!

John Rich - Raisin' MCCain

John Rich has chosen to record this song to support John McCain. If you like it you can download it on his website for free.

RAISIN McCAIN

For anyone not familiar with the artist who wrote the song to support McCain you might remember Big n Rich's previous hit...

I suspect that the election will be a Nixon-McGovern blowout.

Uncertainty about Obama, punctuated by his bizarre, leftist (and downright stupid) ideas, are going to end up with McCain getting huge numbers of “Vote for Obama? Are you crazy?” votes.

To make matters worse for Obama, the level of fear he generates will not cause voters to just stay home. His hidden negatives will bring out large numbers of voters who just won’t feel they can risk it.

To put his problem in a nutshell, it his not just his ideas that are far out radical, but the very idea that somehow, anyhow, he thinks that he can just dictate policy and it will be obeyed.

Compare him with normal candidates, who speak in moderate tones and try hard to be inoffensive. There is a very good reason for this.

Is America in chaos? A disaster? Are people starving to death in the streets as our cities burn down? Are States at war with each other?

Of course not. Most of what we have is working well. Most people have reasonably good jobs, live in fairly nice surroundings, have not just necessities, but luxuries, etc.

Only fruitcakes and paranoid megalomaniacs think America is evil and must be destroyed and rebuilt from scratch. The vast majority of people are happily conservative in the true sense—they like things much the way they are.

So why in hell is Obama ranting about taxing us trillions of dollars to give away to other countries? Bizarre ideas like taxing oil companies to give each family a thousand dollars. It sounds like he is a lunatic.

Need oil? Inflate your tires! That will solve the problem!

He sounds like an adult version of a high school kid who responds to questions in utter ignorance:

What was the deadliest war in human history? Vietnam!

Who keeps the black people down? The Man!

What is socialism? It is where everybody is equal!

What kind of tax policy should we have? Take away rich people’s money and nobody would be poor anymore!

What is nationalized medicine? Everybody wears condoms!

Is Robert Mugabe a good leader? Sure! He was elected!

Who was America’s greatest President? George Kennedy!

By the time the election rolls around, 12% of America is going to vote for Obama because he is black. Any other votes he gets will let us know how extensive mental illness is in the United States.

Maybe I have missed more than I should here; but never even heard of this man, until he was a 'consideration' for VP slot for McCain. (corr. here: I may have heard of him; but not in any memorable way. ..)

Am wondering if this pronouncement; which is a truth expressed, for sure - if somewhat carefully - is his way of getting acquainted with a larger 'body electorate'. And if it is by request that he do so. . .
