Should this President show some guts and call Congress back,
I guarantee you that the MSM will be forced to cover it.

This President has an opportunity to show the American people he’s on their side and score political points at the same time.

If not, this whole event will be forgotten by next week...poof...like it never happened.

Wow you were in the middle of the action. Way to go! So what did the Blue Dog Democrats feel about this stunt? If I were them, I would be pissed off.

Thanks Trueblackman. We can hope Pelosi as well as Reid’s days are numbered.

I don't know, but if the Republicans know whats good for them they will just turn the lights on, and hold sessions without them. Since CSPAN is dead air, perhaps inviting news media in would do the trick.

A big protest march wouldn't hurt either.

Kevin I just read your report. Thank you! Just turned on WMAL- may be too late to catch you on the show.

Is there any talk up there about the possibility of the president calling Congress back from vacation?

We can do a weekend SURGE if necessary:)

“So now what? Where do we go from here? I feel like I got sucker punched. Sorry but, why did they close up shop just in time to make it for dinner?
Seems like another case of the Republicans looking at a gift horse in the mouth and then shoving a sock in it.

Call me jaded, but i think they rolled over.

Show me where I am wrong.”

I’m with you.
I had a brief moment of excitement and hope (and Obama was NOWHERE in the vicinity!)

Only to realize - they are politicians afterall.

And we do have a president who insists on referring to the Saudis as “our friends.”

And I often wonder if maybe politicians on both sides have a little stash available to them compliments of the saudis.

Kevin
Nice piece of reporting on WMAL’s Austin Hill show.

What we are watching now is the foretaste of what is in store if the Dem party controls all three branches of the gov.

Most disturbing of all is the action of the US Capitol Police in this matter. Their charter is to protect both houses of the Congress and their members.

To see them mobilized at the whim of the hormone crazed House Majority leader leads one to believe that the USCP has become the sword and shield of the Democrat party.

Concerned citizens should contact:

Office of Inspector General

Office of Audits

Office of Inspector General Mission

Under Public Law 109-55, August 2, 2005, Congress established the United States Capitol Police Office of Inspector General (OIG). The Inspector General (IG) reports directly to the United States Capitol Police Board, and heads OIG. The OIG supervises and conducts audits, inspections, and investigations involving USCP programs, functions, systems, or operations.

Telephone calls to your congress critters and the White House are also in order.

The “Blue Dog” Democrats are the ones that are going to suffer this Nov from Pelosi’s stunts. We may win the House back, even as we lose more Senators.

Pelosi could break all 10 commandments on live TV and still get reelected by a large margin.

Wake up people. The time to get serious, and stop playing pussy has arrived. Calls and emails will do nothing. The traitors in the rat party are mucking us; it is time to take to the streets in angry protest, and be ready to confront the left. We are watching our country be destroyed by the left, and want to continue making pussy phone calls? If the tables were turned, the rat members of the house would have acted with far more balls than the pussy republicans. WAKE UP!

Pelosi won’t, they will be cheering for her and re elect her in a landslide, she’s from San Francisco.

True, our major cities are cesspools of socialism and they hold a majority over the rest of the state.

We should create "Rent-A-Commie-Leader" for countries fed-up with capitalism and needing a thoroughbred Marxist with the breeding and bloodlines of the type only our fair cities can produce.

No longer would these third world, hellhole, countries have to endure second-tier communists- we could send them our best and brightest. Our communists have law degrees and sh*t like that. But, we'd have to charge a fee (being capitalists and all) to cover the cost of raising these parasites.

Could someone (anyone) explain for me how a country founded on liberty and freedom could become the bastion of communist nurseries? I mean, we even have one running for president, for crying out loud. Has America no defense against democracy gone bad? Are there no rules to this game? (Uh, courts, uh, McFly!)

My guess is: that with freedom came the right to be stupid. And all too many have taken advantage of it.
