Protest tomorrow: San Francisco residents sick and tired of sanctuary

Nancy Pelosi may not care about San Francisco’s inhumane and reckless illegal alien sanctuary policies.

But a growing number of Bay Area residents have had enough.

There’s a protest tomorrow on the steps of SF’s city hall. Reader David sends details. Make your voice heard:

Hi Michelle!

Could you please publicize this upcoming protest on your site…

Protest to demand the resignation of Mayor Newsom and the end of SF’s criminal alien shield (otherwise known as the Sanctuary City Policy).

San Francisco City Hall
Wednesday, July 30th
11 A.M.

The call was put out by the Minuteman Project (link: http://www.minutemanproject.com/newsmanager/templates/mmp.asp?articleid=397&zoneid=1), but we are asking all Bay Area folks, conservative and liberal, who are fed up with this insane and suicidal policy to join us. If you can’t come in person, please email Mayor Newsom, DA Kamala Harris, and the media and tell them you support this protest.

Thanks Michelle. All of us appreciate the coverage that you have given to the Bologna family tragedy and the insane policies that allowed it to happen. I am a Bay Area native, 20-year San Francisco resident, who is sickened to death by what the progressives have done to our town.

Respectfully,
David

From what I understand, these folks are mostly from the Bay Area - maybe that makes a difference.

You've been around this board long enough to know better than that!

I just love it when the fruits of voting ripen and hit the voter square in the face.

I didn’t know there were conservatives in San Francisco.

There have to be a few left. The place isn't a totally burned-out wasteland.

Yet.

I don’t one has to be a conservative to be against this.

This issue will rile virtually everyone eventually.

This is nice, but the New World Order clearly wants open borders and a North American Union, effectively financed by Canada and the US.

The blight of Mexico will be the North’s responsibility and the new markets make the corporations (Bank of America, Wal-Mart, Allstate, Coca-Cola, ConAgra, Anheuser-Busch, etc.) salivate at the opportunity to sell unfettered to another 200,000,000 with no trade tariffs with non-union labor. Think about what Exxon-Mobile dream scenario of Mexico saying, “yes, we cannot produce oil efficiently, so we need your help and we will un-Nationalize petroleum to some extent to gain more product”.

Think of the profit margin if you pay minimum wage with limited benefits vs. a unionized worker in the US. Ag, manufacturing, retail, banking, insurance, energy are all pushing for new markets and new resources.

The clear aim of laissez-faire capitalism is to maximize profits, but to sacrifice you national identity, crime, welfare, gangs and the assorted social and financial issues that follow unchecked 3rd World immigration is criminal.

There are ways to make profits and maintain society...but clearly the goal of McAmnesty and NoBama are to open the floodgates to a welfare state only rivaled by the former Soviet Union. 20 million amnesties = nearly 100 million new people, mainly unskilled with no financial means...e.g. more pressure on the working class to pay for the generations of newly-minted citizens.

I am heading into SF now for the protest of Gavin Newsom’s treasonous policies.

Mojados and union members can both get out of my country. Both are a drain on our society.

That's right. God won't smite it while there are at least ten just men living there.

I thought that there has been a declaration that the NAU is DOA or dead on arrival?

Yes, there are a few of us closeted Conservatives (note double entendre and avoidance of the word, “Republican”).

The feel-good, I-have-a-gay-friend, Prius-Algore-worshipping, anti-war infection runs deep here. The middle-aged ex-hippie appeasers watch as gangs kill their own, bankrupt their schools, hospitals and criminal justice system and the only answer is, “we need to spend more money to cure racism.”

My neighbor to the south DO NOT discuss politics as his Marxist rants of Bushs’ fault and we need to pay $12 minimum wage...gets a silent reception.

No, they changed the name and the CRF and SPP are still working hard to push the agenda.

The reality is that the true power brokers are evil and weak.

If we stand up, they fall.

There's some of us insurgents still around the city. A lonely bunch for sure, but still a bunch. Okay, a few.

“I didn’t know there were conservatives in San Francisco.”

There are conservatives and liberals everywhere. I was in SF last week and was reminded again that San Francisco isn't that much different than any other city.
I live in “fly over country” and I feel our area is dominated by liberals.

The stereotypes of the city certainly can be found if you want to go find them. But there are many normal people there also. I saw a lot of people (a mom and dad)(residents) with kids going about their business.

The Chronicle had a story everyday about about how screwed up the city govt is with this issue bring that to a head.
KGO (am radio)also was discussing this; people were quite disgusted with the city leaders.

San Francisco needs more conservatives to be there, and to take back a very nice city.

KGO listeners were whining about the city government? Good gravy! They are the ultra radical lefties! Yes, there are conservatives in San Francisco. I live in the bay area and we are the few, the proud and not the marines (but we love the marines)! We have a radio station that is 1# in the drive in time KSFO.
