Many of the problems we have in our university systems is the fact that it is populated by tenured professors who, in a nutshell, where hippies who became professional students to avoid the draft.

Some of us are exceptions to this broad brush.

Dear econjack, Thank you for teaching.

I attempted Econ two times, at liberal dominated colleges, and had to withdraw, as they were spouting nonsense, and it made the study of econ - dry, boring, illogical. Then, I came across a conservative econ professor, and he and his curriculum made such perfect, logical sense, it was relatively easy for me to do the work and to "grok" the concepts. I did extra work. I was so enthused. Econ was logical and entirely exciting. It made perfect sense.
