Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Heavenly Father, we are so grateful to You. You show us nothing but Your goodness and we are satisfied with You and Your salvation. Thank You.

We acknowledge that our salvation includes free and bold access to Your throne and so we come, as do our children to us, expecting Your favor and Your answers to our prayers. We intercede for our President, our military servants and our nation this day in the unity of faith in Your righteousness.

You have given us a President who acknowledges salvation through Jesus Christ alone and for that we give You thanks. Show him more of Your goodness and great love so that he can grow in grace, wisdom, skill and understanding. Fill his mouth with Your words so that he can be a success at his work as our President and as a husband, father, son and Your servant. We ask You for his protection and for the satisfaction of a long life.

We give You thanks for every member of our military force. Strengthen each one to seek Your righteousness in his personal life and give them the discipline and self-control they need to make right choices. Give them skill and supernatural protection. May leadership make wise decisions.

Thank You for Your word of righteousness. Each believer here is appreciative that You sent Your word to them so that they could be saved. We pray that You would continue to send laborers to the unsaved in our nation. Help the members of Your body be fruitful in every good work as we preach Your word in season and out of season. Our hearts’ desire is for a nation filled with Your servants. We hunger and thirst after Your undeserved favor so that we bring You pleasure.

We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

AMEN SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!

“Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord.”
- Exodus 14:13

These words contain God’s command to the believer when he is reduced to
great straits and brought into extraordinary difficulties. He cannot
retreat; he cannot go forward; he is shut up on the right hand and on the
left; what is he now to do? The Master’s word to him is, “Stand still.” It
will be well for him if at such times he listens only to his Master’s
word, for other and evil advisers come with their suggestions. Despair
whispers, “Lie down and die; give it all up.” But God would have us put on
a cheerful courage, and even in our worst times, rejoice in his love and
faithfulness. Cowardice says, “Retreat; go back to the worldling’s way of
action; you cannot play the Christian’s part, it is too difficult.
Relinquish your principles.” But, however much Satan may urge this course
upon you, you cannot follow it if you are a child of God. His divine fiat
has bid thee go from strength to strength, and so thou shalt, and neither
death nor hell shall turn thee from thy course. What, if for a while thou
art called to stand still, yet this is but to renew thy strength for some
greater advance in due time. Precipitancy cries, “do something. Stir
yourself; to stand still and wait, is sheer idleness.” We must be doing
something at once-we must do it so we think-instead of looking to the
Lord, who will not only do something but will do everything. Presumption
boasts, “If the sea be before you, march into it and expect a miracle.
“ But Faith listens neither to Presumption, nor to Despair, nor to
Cowardice, nor to Precipitancy, but it hears God say, “Stand still,” and
immovable as a rock it stands.
“Stand still;”-keep the posture of an upright man, ready for action,
expecting further orders, cheerfully and patiently awaiting the directing
voice; and it will not be long ere God shall say to you, as distinctly as
Moses said it to the people of Israel, “Go forward.

Amen to your beautiful prayer, Hiskid.

Come and hear, all you who fear God,
and I will declare what He has done for my soul.
God has heard me, He has attended to the voice of my prayer. - Psalm 66: 16, 19

The Power In Meekness
In quietness and confidence shall be your strength. —Isaiah 30:15

Niagara Falls is one of the most spectacular sights I have ever seen. The roar of 6 million cubic feet of water each minute makes it the most powerful waterfall in North America. Few people, however, know that more than 50 percent of the river’s water is diverted before it reaches those falls via four huge tunnels. This water passes through hydroelectric turbines that supply power to nearby areas in the US and Canada before returning to the river well past the Falls.

Some would love to have others think of their lives like Niagara Falls— wild, spectacular, and loud. But power without control dissipates into useless energy. Moses thought he could use his royal power to bring about deliverance for God’s people from slavery. He misused his power by killing an Egyptian, which only dissipated his power because he lost the respect of his own people (Ex. 2:11-15). God had to teach him meekness (Num. 12:3).

The meek prosper because they are the ones who have power under control. Our Lord said, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth” (Matt. 5:5). You may be trying to live in this world by your own power. Let God teach you meekness so that you can live in, and depend on, His strength.

We strive to do the will of God
And struggle to succeed;
But we may fail to recognize
God’s strength is what we need. —D. De Haan

Nothing is stronger than strength under God’s control.

May the Lord direct your hearts into [realizing and showing] the love of God and into the steadfastness and patience of Christ and in waiting for His return. (2 Thess. 3:5)

Thank you all for your faithfulness. May your friends and family see His blessings in your lives.
